The JS Prom is one of the anticipated events of ahigh school students. Where all dressed like a Prince & a Princess. It entails the passing for the Seniors their will & testament, the key of responsibility & the class prophecy. For the Juniors they have to formally accept these legacies.

SUSPENDED ANG KLASI UGMANG ADLAWA

As a precautionary measure, classes are suspended tomorrow, Thursday, February 5, in all levels of public schools, while private schools may suspend classes at the discretion of their school management, to ensure the safety of our students. Kaganihang hapon, I convened the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council for a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) together with City DRRMO Head Nagiel Bañacia, Mr. Andy Berame and PAGASA Visayas, represented by Engr. Jhomer Eclarino, who provided a comprehensive briefing on Tropical Depression Basyang, including the latest weather advisory and forecast track.

We discussed preparedness measures to address the possible effects of TD Basyang, with PAGASA reporting continuous updates to ensure timely and accurate information. I extend my sincere thanks to our Vice Mayor Celsi Sitoy, City Councilors, Barangay Captains, Department Heads, DepEd LLC represented by ASDS Dr. Ronald Ferrer, LLCPO led by PCOL Augusto Daskeo, Coast Guard, Red Cross, Pagtambayayong Foundation, BJMP Lapu-Lapu, and all partner agencies for their continued commitment to public safety. CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED

Face-to-face classes in all public and private levels are suspended ugma ug sa Sabado, December 5-6, 2025 tungod sa atong nadawat nga report gikan sa PAGASA as of 11 AM nga ang Tropical Depression Wilma, magdala og kusog nga ulang dinhi sa atong syudad. Gani, nalakip kita sa nabutang sa Orange Rainfall Warning kung diin atong ma-expect ang intense or heavy rainfall nga posibleng maabot og 100 to 200 mm nga gidaghanon sa tubig uwan.

Padayon gihapon nako nga gihangyo ang mga ginikanan nga i-guide ang atong mga anak nga magpadayon sa ilang modular classes aron padayon sab ang ilang pagkat-on. Importante kaayo ang edukasyon pero ato ning gibuhat kay importante sab kaayo para kanato ang ilahang safety. Pero mga kids, stay at home lang gyud mo ha. Di mogawas sa balay. Matod pa sa PAGASA, posibleng mokusog ang pag-uwan sa alas 2 sa kadlawon maong ato nang gimanduan ang mga residente sa mga bahaong lugar nga mo-proceed na sa atong mga evacuation sites. Ang inyung kaluwasan maoy atong priority maong akong gihangyo nga magtinabangay kita ug maminaw sa sugyot sa syudad.
