Today's Flag Raising Ceremony was a powerful reminder of what it truly means to be brave. 🇵🇭✨

As we observe this month's ethical theme and values, our EsP Department Head Mrs. Liza P. Mangwag, shared an inspiring message about the extraordinary COURAGE of our national heroes, whose deep nationalism and patriotism built the foundation of our nation.

More than that, the talk served as a gentle call to action for all students: to embrace courage in times of difficulties in our own lives. Whether facing academic pressures, personal battles, or daily trials, we are reminded that inner strength and resilience can turn everyday challenges into opportunities for growth.

Let's keep marching forward with courage and pride in our hearts! 💪❤️

📢 Project HONEST and the Corner of Character: Search for the Most Values-Oriented Classroom are proud initiatives of the Guidance Office and the Values Education Club of Sarrat National High School.

Project HONEST recognizes and appreciates students who demonstrate honesty and integrity by voluntarily returning lost items to the Guidance Office. Through this initiative, we celebrate exemplary acts of honesty and inspire our learners to uphold integrity in their daily lives.

Meanwhile, the Corner of Character: Search for the Most Values-Oriented Classroom promotes a positive classroom culture by encouraging the consistent practice of core values such as respect, responsibility, empathy, kindness, honesty, and discipline.

📌 Monitoring and Evaluation for the Corner of Character will be conducted during the last week of August to determine the most values-oriented classroom.

These initiatives are spearheaded by the Guidance Office Designates, Mrs. Romelyn Pascua, Teacher I, and Mrs. Dessabelle Palima, Teacher I, together with the Values Education Club Adviser, Mr. Joe Allan Mark Tumamao, Teacher VI, under the guidance of Mr. Joey Balicao, Head Teacher III, and Dr. Dennis Christopher C. Salvador, School Principal IV, with the active support and participation of the Values Education Club Officers.

Together, let us continue building a school community where honesty, integrity, and good character are recognized, celebrated, and lived every day.

SPEECH OF THE MONTH | COURAGE

Courage is who you are. During the flag ceremony earlier, Mr. Mr. Junard Pajarillo Curamming shared a powerful message about this. He explained that it means being brave and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

He also broke down the word COURAGE, showing how each letter stands for something important:

• C – Choose honesty over cheating
• O – Own your actions and learn from mistakes
• U – Understand that courage is facing challenges, not just avoiding them
• R – Respect yourself and others, no matter what
• A – Always try your best, even when it’s hard
• G – Go through difficulties with a strong heart
• E – Encourage others to be brave too

He encouraged all students at Pagudpud National High School to live boldly, do the right thing always, and face every day with courage. Let’s remember: choose courage over fear, kindness over cruelty, and truth over lies. 🤍🍀✨
