#𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗞 | Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos has ordered the suspension of classes at all levels, in both public and private schools, across the Province of Ilocos Norte tomorrow, August 10, due to the heavy rainfall brought about by the enhanced Southeast monsoon.

In line with this, classes in all Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) campuses are suspended tomorrow.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐆𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖

With a shared commitment to purposeful leadership and active partnership, the General Parent-Teacher Association (GPTA) officers of the Mariano Marcos State University – University Laboratory Schools formally took their oath during the Mass Induction Program held on August 5, 2026, at the CTEx Hall. The ceremony marked the official commencement of their term, bringing together university officials, school administrators, faculty members, parents, and stakeholders in a collective affirmation of service for the academic year ahead.

The program featured the presentation and induction of the Laboratory Elementary School (LES) and Laboratory High School (LHS) GPTA officers, followed by messages from university and school officials highlighting the indispensable role of parents as partners in education. More than a ceremonial oath-taking, the gathering reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration between the school and families, fostering an environment where learners are supported both inside and beyond the classroom.
