🌌 Educational Trip 2026

Day 2 Highlights

A day powered by science, discovery, and wonder! ⚛️✨

The journey continued at the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, where students had the rare opportunity to explore the Nuclear Reactor and Irradiation Facilities—bringing nuclear science from theory to reality. 🔬

The adventure then reached the stars at the PAGASA Planetarium, where an engaging lecture on astronomy sparked curiosity about the vast universe. 🌠
As night fell, the experience became even more magical with stargazing at the PAGASA Observatory—a moment of awe as students witnessed the beauty of the night sky firsthand. 🔭

From the core of the atom to the edge of the cosmos, Day 2 truly ignited our passion for science and exploration. 💫

This educational trip was organized by the ESSED 114 (Astronomy) class under the coordination of Dr. Aris Reynold V. Cajigal, with support from the CBEA BS Tourism Program, which facilitated key logistical arrangements. The students were accompanied by Dr. Hend Riick Gagarin, Professor of Modern Physics, and Christy Ann Mina Rahon, Program Coordinator of BSEd Science, who guided and supervised the group throughout the trip.

The group extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute and the PAGASA Planetarium and Observatory for warmly accommodating the students and providing meaningful learning experiences. Special thanks are also extended to Farinas Trans for serving as the official transportation provider and ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for the entire trip.

BSE Science Educational Field Trip

Day 1

The BSE Science III students embarked on an enriching educational journey to the
✅UP National Institute of Geological Sciences
✅National Museum of Natural History
✅National Museum of Anthropology
✅National Museum of Fine Arts.

From exploring Earth’s dynamic processes and geological wonders to appreciating the richness of Philippine biodiversity, culture, and artistic heritage, the experience deepened our understanding of science and its connection to society. 🧬🌿🎨

Indeed, this trip was not just about seeing—it was about discovering, reflecting, and inspiring future educators to bring meaningful learning to life. 💡📚
