As we turn another page, we are proud to welcome Prof. Johnson Modesto A. Blanco as the new Chair of the TVLED Department. A dedicated educator and leader, Prof. Blanco brings with him a deep understanding of the department’s values and a steadfast commitment to upholding its standards of excellence. With his guidance, we are confident that the TVLED Department will continue to thrive and reach new milestones.

And with warm hearts and deep respect, we thank Dr. Regie Boy B. Fabro as he completes his term as Chair of the Technical-Vocational and Livelihood Education (TVLED) Department and takes on a greater leadership role as Chief of the University’s Open Distance eLearning (ODeL). Dr. Fabro’s time as Department Chair was marked by passion, innovation, and a relentless commitment to excellence in ICT and development education.

We look forward to working collaboratively under Prof. Blanco’s leadership and to sustaining the momentum of growth, innovation, and unity that defines the TVLED community.

The school bell rings, signaling the end of summer's lazy days and the start of a new academic year. Students, some excited, others apprehensive, reunite with friends and teachers. The hallways buzz with energy, a mix of chatter and laughter echoing through the corridors. Familiar faces and new classmates fill the classrooms, ready to embark on a journey of learning. Textbooks, fresh and crisp, await to be opened and explored. Teachers introduce new subjects, sparking curiosity and setting ambitious goals. The scent of freshly sharpened pencils and the rustling of papers fill the air. Projects and assignments challenge students to think critically and creatively. Extracurricular activities offer opportunities for growth and camaraderie. Back to school is a time of renewal, growth, and the promise of new beginnings.
