REFLECTIONS:
Let’s face it, for most of us the first and likely the most important leader we ever encountered was our mother.
Our Mothers know that they cannot always be there for their children even though a lot of trials in life and that they will fail and make mistakes along that way. That’s part of life, part of living and growing. My mother knows what's the best for me she let me learn from my mistakes, and let me to go way within reason to find their way. Sometimes we fail at times as part of learning and growing. That involves learning to make good decisions and choices. A fact of life, and learning is that along the way we make mistakes. That’s how we learn to self-correct, and function independently.
That’s because, like all good mothers, she is a leader at heart. I am fortunate to know her, and to be able to use her example of mother and a leader to help me grow.
