In a touching display of unity and solidarity, some student teachers and the Teaching Internship adviser, Mr. Jayson D. Amian, gathered to pay their respect to the beloved mother of Mrs. Rowena Deuz, one of the TTIs of the student teachers at San Nicolas Elementary School, Mrs. Wilma "Alma" Pudiquet.

The necrological service started with a solemn prayer led by Paula Viernes, accompanied by Dapnie Ravelo, Lilet Viernes Badua, Rey John Bagasol, KC Valdez, Jazper Hansen, and Lea Rose Aglamma Barayuga. The atmosphere was heavy with grief as everyone consoled each other during the service. Mrs. Rowena Deuz, whose mother had passed away was visibly emotional, as she shared fond memories of her mother with everyone. She spoke of her mother's kindness, wisdom, and strength, and how she had been a source of inspiration and support throughout her life.

Paula Viernes and Mr. Jayson Amian stood up to offer words of comfort and support to Mrs. Deuz. Despite the sadness that hung in the air, there was also a sense of resilience and unity as the school community stood together in solidarity, honoring the memory of a beloved mother and offering solace to a grieving teacher.

The necrological service was a poignant reminder of the power of community and the strength that can be found in coming together to honor and remember those we have lost. It served as a testament to the bonds that tie us together, and the importance of showing compassion and empathy towards one another during times of grief.

As the school community dispersed, there was a sense of unity and support that lingered in the air, a reminder that in times of loss and sorrow, we are never truly alone.

"The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual." (Vince Lombardi)

It was a great and honourable achievement from the institution especially from the BEEd Department as the Philippine Association For Teachers and Educators (PAFTE) recognized Data Center College of the Philippines of Laoag City, Inc. as an Instutional Member in the organization last October 12, 2023.

Recently, the institution just joined the organization due to the informations they learned regarding to the topics related to the field through congress and webinars that they may apply once they are now in the world of teaching. With the consistent joining, the institution was given by this recognition.

The sacrifices and hardwork for this recognition were truly paid off with the help of the instructors, the program head and from the students itself. Congratulations, DCCP and BEEd Department!

Creative, Dedicated, Caring, Resourceful and Professional.

These are only few words to describe our teachers. However, these words aren't enough to say that they've done so many things in our life, shape our minds and teach us good deeds on what we have become as of today. They always kept their students as their priority, they help and encouraged us to pursue and achieve our dreams someday and especially, they taught us that there is nothing called impossible – wherein the real meaning of impossible is "I am possible".

Thank you, teachers! Thank you for being the teachers who will live in our minds and hearts of your students whom you’ve touched. Thank you for inspiring us, your dedication to helping your students succeed extends far beyond the classroom. Thank you for being a guiding light during challenging times and for offering a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on.

As Sidney Hook said, β€œEveryone who remembers his own education remembers teachers, not the methods and techniques. The teacher is the heart of the educational system.” Again, Happy World Teacher’s Day to all the teachers and future teachers!πŸ’πŸ’
