Congratulations to Santa Cruz Mission School, Inc. โ Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, proudly represented by Jose Sulan and Princess Tuan, for being crowned Champion of the Tourism Start-up Challenge in Region 12.
Their winning project, โEnhancing Cultural Tourism and Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSPs) in Lake Sebu: Homestay Accreditation, Culture Hub Creation, and Manlilikha ng Bayan Mentorship Support,โ showcases a strong commitment to cultural preservation, sustainable tourism, and community empowerment.
This outstanding achievement was made possible through the invaluable guidance of their adviser Nykee Kyla G. Kinan, with the strong support of Felicito A. Tabidad, Jr., Program Head of BSTM, Xyrelle Jane A. Aban and Susy Mae Bernaje, BSTM Instructors, alongside the dedicated support of Ian Mark K. Kamangkang, Secretary to the School President, and the visionary leadership of Reden S. Ulo, School President.
