𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) warns the public on the proliferation of emails allegedly sent by telecommunications companies (telcos) to their subscribers regarding the SIM Registration Act.

Said emails inform subscribers with registered accounts with their respective telco's virtual wallet and mobile payment applications that their accounts are being restricted in accordance with the said law and will only be re-activated upon their participation in a supposed pre-registration process.

Telco subscribers are advised to exercise caution in dealing with these emails. Particularly, subscribers are advised not to provide personal information to the senders nor click on links that may be included in the email messages.

The public is further advised to await the official guidelines for the registration of SIM cards from the DICT, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), and telcos.

Relative to this, the DICT, NTC, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Department of Justice (DOJ) are going to hold a press briefing on 26 December 2022, 1 PM at the NTC Central Office to discuss matters surrounding the implementation of the law.

In the meantime, we advise the public to remain vigilant and report any similar issues to the concerned bodies for further action.

Tech4Ed Center Launching at San Pedro Relocation Center National High School Main Campus

June 6, 2018

What is Tech4Ed?

A program organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology in partnership with DepEd Laguna and other DepEd Divisions in the entire country, LGUs and other private organizations.

A Tech4Ed Center is a self- sustaining, shared facility providing access to ICT - enabled services and relevant content. This will serve as a hub for the school to have access to : information, communication, technology, government services, non-formal education / alternative learning, skills training, job markets, and business portals giving individuals opportunity for inclusive growth.

Initially, it all started with a vision of having a Contact Center Services in the SPRCNHS Senior High School offerings, amidst all circumstances , CCS was born and made into reality.. Thanks sir pagulayan for without you being a student of UPOU that seeks a school like US, this will not be feasible, but unexpected things are destined to happen, we have much a long way to go, this is only the beginning of a brand new start. This will also not possible without the approval and extended help of our principal and the rest of the staff. A big thanks also to the DICT team for a quick response to our call! Lets continue to dream big!

San Pedro Relocation National High School (SPRCNHS)

What started as a post grad thesis topic 5 years ago is now a sustained SHS track.
We started with 1 section of 20+ Contact Center Servicing students. Now we have +35 Grade 11 and +50 Grade 12 students.

Through thick and thin, multiple org changes, and post pandemic challenges, this school partner has seen (almost) it all.

Thank you to our PESO partner in San Pedro City, the administrators of SPRCNHS and the dynamic duo of Ma'am Mhore and Ma'am Ale Nie for being a constant.
