In line with the Department of Education’s strong commitment to strengthening literacy and numeracy, the Lumban Sub-Office successfully conducted the Pabasa at Pabilang Activity—an initiative led by our dedicated Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Florentina C. Rancap.
This meaningful program aims to enhance learners’ foundational skills in reading and basic mathematics, ensuring that every child can read with comprehension, think critically, and solve problems with confidence. Through guided reading sessions, number recognition, counting drills, and interactive math activities, we continue to address learning gaps and improve overall academic performance.
Literacy and numeracy are the cornerstones of lifelong learning. When a child learns to read fluently and compute accurately, greater opportunities open for their future. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to providing quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education for all.
