📢 Tissue Culture Laboratory Successfully Upgraded through DA-ACEF Support
Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST), through the Agriculture, Food and Technology Innovation Incubation and Commercialization Center (AFTIICC), proudly announces the successful delivery, inspection, testing, and acceptance of specialized equipment for the rehabilitation and upgrading of its Tissue Culture Laboratory under the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (DA-ACEF) project.
The newly acquired laboratory equipment, includes an digital autoclave, vertical laminar flow cabinet, water distiller, analytical balances, microscope with laptop connectivity, tissue culture shelves, sterilizers, micropipettes, and other essential laboratory instruments.
All equipment were verified to meet the required technical specifications and were found to be fully operational and in excellent working condition. This milestone strengthens ASIST's capability in plant tissue culture research, quality seedling production, agricultural innovation, and technology development in support of farmers and stakeholders in the region.
This initiative reflects ASIST's commitment to advancing science, technology, and innovation for sustainable agricultural development.
