The Campasas Mini Mart, through Ma’am Mariz Campasas-Labadan and Ma’am Edith Campasas, extended their kindness to one of our learners on August 13, 2026 by donating groceries, shoes, school uniforms, and T-shirts.

On August 14, 2026, Ma’am Corey Carrera Legaspi also shared her generosity by donating clothes and footwear for our learner.

Bridging Foundational Growth and Academic Mastery: School Conducts SLAC on DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026
In preparation for the nationwide rollout in School Year 2026–2027, primary and intermediate educators (Kindergarten to Grade 6) gathered for a comprehensive School-Based Learning Action Cell (SLAC). The session focused on unpacking DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026: “Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.”

The collaborative session provided teachers across Key Stage 1 (K–Grade 3) and Key Stage 2 (Grades 4–6) with clear policy direction to transition toward learner-centered, evidence-based, and developmentally appropriate assessment practices.

LGU LABASON DELIVERS MATERIALS THROUGH THE SPECIAL EDUCATION FUND (SEF)

The Local Government Unit of Labason, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Jed Quimbo, delivers materials through the Special Education Fund (SEF) to Patawag Elementary School, Gabu Elementary School, La Union Integrated School, and Labason Integrated School. This support helps build better facilities and provides an improved learning environment for our educators and learners.

This assistance eases school budgets for facility and infrastructure needs, advancing our municipality’s goal: a better environment for a better future of our students. We remain committed to supporting the Department of Education.

La Union Integrated School Conducts SLAC Session to Strengthen Reading and Numeracy Interventions through ODRNP

LUIS— Dedicated to elevating foundational literacy and mathematical skills among learners, La Union Integrated School successfully conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session focused on "Enhancing Teachers' Understanding of the Implementation of ODRNP in the School’s Reading and Numeracy Intervention Program of 2026."

The session equipped educators with comprehensive guidelines and innovative pedagogical tools to effectively execute the One Division Reading and Numeracy Program (ODRNP). Teachers engaged in collaborative discussions, reviewing diagnostic assessment protocols, target-setting frameworks, and individualized progress-tracking mechanisms designed to bridge learning gaps.
