Wangal Integrated School participated in the La Trinidad District Festival of Talent (TECHNOLYMPICS) 2026 held on January 31, 2026 at Benguet National High School, with the theme “Empowering Learners through Innovation and Creativity.” The activity showcased the talents and skills of learners from different schools in the district.

Shalyn Grace M. Devag placed 4th in Invitation Card Making under the coaching of Ma’am Brenda M. Devag, with the help of Ma’am Beverly B. Calawa. Meanwhile, Deandre Jhezly A. Bitayan won 3rd Place in Asexual Propagation under the guidance of Ma’am Arlene Olayan.

All participants and coaches were under the leadership and guidance of the School Head, Mr. Ignacio S. Dolo.

Wangal Integrated School is proud of its learners and coaches for their dedication, teamwork, and commendable performance.

Wangal Integrated School officially opened School Year 2025–2026 today, June 17, 2025.

The first day of classes was monitored by Sir Delarosa Delmas , Public School District Supervisor of La Trinidad District, and Ma’am Sonia D. Dupagan, Education Program Supervisor for LRMS, Schools Division of Benguet.

Also visiting were representatives from the DepEd Cordillera Administrative Region: Sir Asterio C. Madalla, EPS for Curriculum and Learning Management Division, and Sir Dexter B. Andres, EPS for Education and Human Resource Development Division.

The visit aimed to provide technical assistance to the school head and teachers, especially in support of the opening of Grade 7 with newly assigned teachers Sir Neil N. Olsing and Ma’am Ilyn A. Billao.

Wangal Integrated School proudly hosted the La Trinidad District Brigada Eskwela 2025 Kick-Off Program on June 9, 2025, with the theme: “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-Sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa.”

The event was graced by La Trinidad District Elementary and Secondary School Heads led by Schools District Supervisor, Sir Delarosa Delmas , along with District STAGs, Barangay Wangal Officials represented by Kag. Carriedine Salingbay and Kag. Wilbert Cuidno, Wangal BPATS, Wangal IS alumni, PTA Officers led by Ms. Jonalyn C. Babsa-ay, parents, teachers, different Barangay Wangalorganizations, and the Benguet 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

After the program, Day 1 of Brigada Eskwela officially began, with volunteers working together to clean and prepare the school for the new school year.
