March 31, 2026- Liguis Elementary School and Sidongan Primary School successfully conducted its Completion and Recognition Day, celebrating the achievements and milestones of its learners.

The ceremony highlighted the hard work of the completers and academic awardees, recognized the outstanding accomplishment of the teaching personnel of LES and SPS and the unwavering support of the school stakeholders.

The Liguis Elementary School Graduation Exercises is a special and heartfelt event for learners, parents, and teachers. It celebrates the efforts and achievements of the graduates after years of hard work in school.

The school would like to thank Sir Smith Van Exel Ferrer for inspiring our graduates to strive hard and continue on dreaming.

Thank you also to the Education Program Supervisor in Mathematics Sir Mijurodel B. Rifareal for gracing the occasion.

The graduating class of 2025-2026 gathered with their teachers and families for the annual Baccalaureate Mass, a solemn tradition that blends academic achievements with spiritual thanksgiving.

The Mass held at St. Joseph chapel at Liguis La Paz Abra earlier today. Opened with hymns of gratitude and prayers for guidance as graduates prepare to embark on new journeys beyond the classroom. They were reminded that education is not only about knowledge but also about service, compassion, and living with integrity.

LES Ensures Safety with Successful Earthquake Drill

Liguis Elementary School -March 12, 2026

LES successfully conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2026. The drill aimed to strengthen Earthquake preparedness among learners and teachers of the school.

Sirens and alarms echoed as participants practiced the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” before evacuating to designated safe zones.

Women’s Month Celebration Honors School Personnel

The school recently celebrated Women’s Month through a meaningful program that recognized the dedication and valuable contributions of its women personnel. As part of the celebration, tokens sponsored by Pera Hub were given to the school personnel as a gesture of appreciation for their continuous service and commitment to the school community.

Adding excitement to the event, selected learners presented lively intermission numbers that showcased their talents in music and dance, bringing joy and entertainment to the audience.

To further make the celebration special, a free pedicure service was also offered to the school personnel, giving them an opportunity to relax and enjoy a moment of self-care. The activity made the Women’s Month wellness and gratitude for the hardworking women in the school.

Congratulations!.. Jon Angelo Garcia from Liguis Elementary School and to his double Franz Hyderdave A. Mamaril from Canan ES for bagging Silver Medal in Table Tennis (Doubles) this CARAA MEET 2026 held at Benguet.

The duo are both first timers in the sport but because of hard work, perseverance and strong determination, they didn't just compete in sport- they own it.

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) election was successfully conducted on February 9 and 10, 2026. The activity was organized by the Schools Commission on Elections.
The elected officers were later announced and expressed their commitment to serve the learners body responsibly for the coming school year.

February 10, 2026-the school successfully conducted its Third Culminating Activity, which brought together learners, parents, and teachers in a meaningful program.
The activity featured the ALS Campaign by sir Francis Casel and ma'am Remedios Balino, it aims to promote inclusive education and encourage out of school youth to continue their studies, and the Third General PTA Meeting, where important school matters were discussed and parent participation was encouraged.
The program also included the Awarding of Certificates to recognize learners for their achievements during the Third Quarter, highlighting their hard work and dedication.
To add excitement, an Attendance Raffle was held as a token of appreciation for parents and guardians who attended and supported the activity.
