Liguis Elementary School Holds Oplan Taob and Tree-Planting Activity

Earlier today, the officers of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), and the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), together with the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Liguis Elementary School, successfully conducted an Oplan Taob campaign and tree-planting activity as part of the school's commitment to environmental protection and community service.

The activity began with the Oplan Taob campaign, where participants searched for and emptied containers that could collect stagnant water and serve as breeding grounds for mosquitoes. The initiative aimed to help prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases while promoting cleanliness and health awareness within the school and surrounding community.

Following the clean-up campaign, the participants proceeded with a tree-planting activity on the school grounds. Various tree seedlings were planted to promote environmental conservation, improve the school's surroundings, and encourage learners to become responsible stewards of nature.
