As part of the Opening Block activities, Buracan National High School successfully conducted a series of fun-filled and exciting Bayanihan Games: Laro ng Lahi for our learners. These traditional Filipino games not only brought enjoyment and entertainment but also promoted camaraderie, teamwork, and active participation among students.

The activity aimed to encourage learners to socialize with their classmates, strengthen friendships, and reconnect with the traditional community games that have been a memorable and meaningful part of Filipino culture.

Indeed, our learners enthusiastically participated in various games such as Kadang-Kadang, Calamansi Relay, Floating Balloon with a Twist, Message Relay, Bring Me, and many more. Their smiles, laughter, and energy throughout the activities reflected the joy and excitement that these games brought. Winners of each game received school supplies (2 notebooks, 1 intermediate paper, 1 ball pen) courtesy of Sir Arnel C. Ballon.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the class advisers for guiding and facilitating their learners, as well as to the SSLG officers and their adviser for organizing and successfully managing the games.

Beyond the fun and prizes, these activities reminded everyone that learning is not confined to the classroom. Through play, learners develop teamwork, sportsmanship, creativity, and a deeper appreciation of our cultural heritage.

Together, we learn, play, and grow as one community.

The said activity was facilitated by District Nurse, Ma. Isah E. Arceno, who emphasized the importance of submitting a properly accomplished and signed consent form to avail of these essential health services. She also highlighted how regular health assessments contribute to the overall well-being, safety, and academic success of learners.

Learners from Grades 7 to 12 actively attended and participated in the activity, demonstrating their interest in promoting health awareness and taking responsibility for their well-being. The faculty and staff of Buracan National High School extend their heartfelt congratulations to our newly licensed teachers who successfully passed the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Your achievement is not merely a personal triumph—it is the culmination of years of perseverance, sacrifice, determination, and unwavering faith in your dreams and purpose.

We are especially proud that among the passers are members of our Batch 2021 alumni—students whom we first welcomed as young Grade 7 learners filled with curiosity, potential, and ambition. Through the years, your alma mater witnessed your transformation from aspiring students into what you are today who exemplified excellence, leadership, and resilience. Beyond your academic achievements, you embodied the values of humility, discipline, compassion, and service—qualities that define a true teacher and leader. We still remember how your laughter echoed through the hallways, how your genuine smiles brought life and warmth to our school, and how your presence created memories that continue to inspire the entire BNHS community.

Your journey was never easy. Behind this success were countless struggles silently endured—financial hardships, emotional burdens, self-doubt, and uncertainties about the future. Yet despite these challenges, you chose not to surrender. You pursued your college education with courage, often continuing despite limited resources and difficult circumstances. There were moments when the road seemed too heavy to carry, yet you persisted. Through determination, hard work, and passion, you found ways to rise above every obstacle, sustain your dreams, and continue striving toward the future you envisioned for yourselves and your families.

Your story reminds us that success is not measured solely by talent or opportunity, but by the strength to continue even when the path becomes difficult. True achievement is shaped by silent sacrifices, sleepless nights, disciplined effort, and the courage to keep moving forward despite adversity. Today, your victory stands as a powerful inspiration to the younger generation—a living testimony that dreams rooted in perseverance, faith, and hard work do come true.

As you begin your journey as licensed professional teachers, may you continue to uphold the values of integrity, excellence, compassion, and dedication in serving the youth. Teaching is more than a profession; it is a noble calling that shapes minds, nurtures hearts, transforms communities, and builds the future of society. In a world that constantly changes, teachers remain one of the greatest sources of hope because they possess the power to influence lives beyond the four corners of the classroom. May you never lose the passion that brought you to this moment, and may you always remember the institution that once became the foundation of your aspirations.

Perhaps one day, we may have the privilege of welcoming you back—not only as proud alumni, but as fellow educators and mentors in the same school that once witnessed your dreams take shape. We look forward to the possibility of working alongside you in this humble institution, united by the same mission of shaping lives and inspiring future generations.

Congratulations!

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and recognition to our dancers (mostly our learners, others are community members & alumni) for their remarkable effort, sacrifice, hard work, perseverance, and determination. Your ability to endure physical exhaustion from consistent practices truly reflects your passion and commitment. Your participation and dedication are truly commendable.

We are aware of the struggles you face every time there is practice. Some of you have to ask someone to pick you up from your homes, seek sponsors for gasoline, or even walk nearly three to four kilometers just to reach the training venue. There are also times when you come to school on an empty stomach, without extra money for snacks or lunch. Yet despite these challenges, you continue to show up with courage and determination.

We have witnessed your dedication and passion to always be present and on time. In every practice, you give your full energy and your very best. Your commitment proves that true determination is not measured by the absence of hardship, but by the strength to keep going despite it.

Your journey reminds us that success is not only about talent, but about resilience, discipline, and the willingness to rise above difficulties. The sacrifices you make today are shaping not only stronger athletes but also stronger individuals who will carry these values throughout life.

Of course, we also extend our sincere gratitude to the parents who allow and support their children to join and participate. Your encouragement, trust, and sacrifices play a vital role in their growth and success.

Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta.

Together, let us continue nurturing dreams, building character, and inspiring excellence.
