ABEL Update | PASASALAMAT AT PAGTATAPOS: Bulbulala ES Thanksgiving & Graduation Mass 2026

​Isang makabuluhan at mapagpalang umaga ang idinaos kahapon, March 18, 2026, para sa mga mag-aaral sa Bulbulala Elementary School.

​Pinangunahan ni Fr. Renato Amasi (Parish Priest ng Canan), sa tulong ni Catechist Magdalena Baño, ang banal na misa para sa aming 26 na Grade 6 Magsisipagtapos at 21 Kinder Completers.
​
Sa gitna ng selebrasyon, ang mga medalya, sertipiko, ribbons, watawat, aklat, at Bibliya ay inalay at binasbasan para sa matagumpay na pagtatapos.

​ Naging madamdamin ang pagdiriwang nang mag-alay ng bulaklak at tsokolate ang mga Grade 6 para sa kanilang mga magulang at guardians.

​ Maraming salamat sa aming OIC na si G. Silvestre Quiday na nagsilbing gitarista at matiyagang nag-ensayo sa mga mag-aaral at kay Gng. Nelly Palope na nagsilbing Commentator.

​Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng nakiisa upang maging makabuluhan at matagumpay ang araw na ito para sa aming magsisipagtapos.

ABEL Update | NSED 2026

In compliance with the Department of Education Memorandum on the conduct of the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), Bulbulala Elementary School successfully conducted the drill today, March 12, 2026 at 3:30 PM, to strengthen disaster preparedness among learners and school personnel.

The activity was headed by OIC, Mr. Silvestre B. Quiday, and facilitated by School DRRM Coordinator, Mr. Abdul Mannan B. Omar. Teachers assisted the learners in properly performing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure and in following safe evacuation practices during the drill.

After the simulation, Mr. Quiday and Mr. Omar delivered a short lecture, including important precautions and reminders on what to do before, during, and after an earthquake to ensure everyone’s safety.

Bulbulala Elementary School continues to support the initiatives of DepEd and DRRM programs in promoting a culture of preparedness and safety in the school community.

​ The Bulbulala Elementary School Drum and Lyre Corps brought vibrant energy to the opening of the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) and Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT). As host province Abra welcomed delegates, the BES ensemble was among the select groups chosen to enliven the parade route from Bangued Plaza to the Gov. Andres B. Bernos Memorial Gymnasium of University of Abra.

​The performance perfectly captured this year’s theme: "𝙀𝙈𝘽𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀, 𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙀𝙓𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀."

​In a true display of versatility, the corps was led by two of the four table lyrists 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗔. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 and 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘅𝗶𝗮 𝗤. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹, who had just competed as campus journalists the previous day at the Divine Word College of Bangued.

​The delegation was accompanied and guided by their dedicated teachers, ma'am Nelly A. Palope and Sir Silvestre Quiday, and some parents, who marched alongside the pupils to ensure a successful performance for the opening program. This transition from the competitive writing desk to the musical parade highlighted the diverse talents fostered within Bulbulala Elementary School.

𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝙎𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙎, 𝙎𝘼𝙈𝙀 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙊𝙉!

Bulbulala Elementary School is overflowing with gratitude today! Our very own SELG President, 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒙𝒊𝒆 𝑫𝒉𝒆𝒍 𝑨. 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐 has donated 15 brand-new Uratex monoblock chairs to support our school's needs.

​The turnover was witnessed by Sir Omar D. Blanza (SELG Adviser) and Sir Silvestre Quiday (OIC), who expressed their appreciation for Trixie’s initiative and generosity.

These chairs will go a long way in making our school events more organized and comfortable for everyone.

ABEL Update | 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐁𝐄𝐒 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭

​ Grade 6 pupils at Bulbulala Elementary School successfully started the Regional Achievement Test (RAT) today March 2, 2026, powered by the school’s "Class-In" tablets.

​On the first day, 12 out of 16 identified learners completed the online exam. These pupils represent a key portion of the Grade 6 class. The use of tablets made the digital assessment possible, providing a modern way for learners to show what they've learned.

​The smooth start was thanks to dedicated school leadership:
-​Judylyn Manuel (ICT Coordinator and Grade 6 adviser) prepared and conditioned the tablets to ensure they were ready for the test.
-​Sir Silvestre Quiday (OIC) supervised the session to keep everything running on track.

Testing at Bulbulala ES is expected to continue and wrap up tomorrow to ensure all identified learners have the chance to finish.

​The RAT is a standard test in Cordillera Administrative Region that checks how much pupils know in Math, English, Science, Filipino, and Araling Panlipunan.

February 28, 2026 — It was a morning of dual progress today as the Bulbulala Elementary School community balanced digital learning with physical improvements.

​While Class-In Connect, the Saturday online class, facilitated by sir Silvestre Quiday and ma'am Juliet Quiday were in full swing, PTA members gathered on-site to begin the demolition of the campus's dilapidated fence.

​The old structure, which had stood through years of wear and numerous natural disasters, was finally deemed unsafe. To ensure a more secure environment, the school, particularly the PTA officers and members opted to replace the barrier with a firmer, more durable fence. Working hand-in-hand, parents and the OIC sir Silvestre Quiday cleared the old debris to make way for the new construction—demonstrating a true "Saturday grind" dedicated to pupils' safety and school improvement.

BES extends a huge thank you to our hardworking BES parents for working hand-in-hand with the administration. This "Saturday grind" is a testament to the community's shared commitment to a safer, better environment for our learners.

ABEL Update | BES Convenes Emergency PTA Meeting for School Fencing

​ Bulbulala Elementary School held an emergency PTA meeting at 2:30 PM today February 27, 2026, centered on campus security and year-end preparations.

​The meeting, moderated by emcee Ma'am Nelly Palope, opened with a Makabayan song by ma'am Donabel Abdullah, a prayer by ma'am Carlina Baruela Apuya , and a roll call by ma'am Xyra Astudillo Beronilla. Following Mr. John Balino, the PTA Vice President’s opening remarks and a financial report from Mrs. Melda Pudol, the school's OIC sir Silvestre Quiday announced the launch of PTA Unity Work starting tomorrow to begin the school’s fencing project.

​Mrs. Brigilda Belisario kickstarted the initiative with a financial and in-kind donation, urging fellow parents to "share their blessings" to extend the fence's reach.

​The meeting concluded with ma'am Judylyn Manuel discussing graduation schedules and essential reminders for the upcoming ceremonies.
