Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Everyday (PEACE) Program Promotes a Culture of Respect and Unity

The Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Everyday (PEACE) Program successfully promoted a culture of respect, compassion, inclusivity, and unity among students. Designed to inspire the school community to embrace positive values, the initiative focused on fostering harmonious relationships and creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming learning environment for all.

The program commenced with the Rally for PEACE, spearheaded by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers. Through engaging activities and inspiring messages, they encouraged students, teachers, and school personnel to practice empathy, acceptance, and peaceful coexistence in their daily interactions. Their enthusiastic facilitation set a positive and uplifting atmosphere for the meaningful activities that followed.

The event was graced by the presence of Principal III, Mrs. Faith S. Feria, who expressed her unwavering support for the initiative. In her inspirational message, she encouraged everyone to uphold the values of empathy, acceptance, respect, and unity as guiding principles in building a positive, inclusive, and compassionate school community.

A significant highlight of the program was the PEACE Message delivered by Pastor Krispin E. Joquiño. He emphasized the importance of cultivating a strong relationship with God through prayer, reading and understanding the Holy Bible, and living a life rooted in Christian values. He encouraged students to make prayer and God's Word an essential part of their daily lives, reminding them that a life guided by faith leads to peace, wisdom, compassion, and harmonious relationships with others.

To further strengthen the commitment to these ideals, Jolie Maxine Inocencio, SSLG Auditor, led the Bully-Free Pledge. During this solemn and meaningful ceremony, students pledged to help maintain a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school by treating one another with dignity, fairness, kindness, and respect. They also committed themselves to standing against all forms of bullying, discrimination, and intolerance.

The program concluded with the heartfelt rendition of the Unity Song for PEACE, led by Frenz Edric Villanueva, SSLG Grade 9 Representative. The inspiring performance served as a powerful reminder that unity, cooperation, and mutual understanding are essential in creating a caring and peaceful school community where every learner feels valued, respected, and accepted.

Through these meaningful activities, the PEACE Program successfully reinforced the values of empathy, acceptance, respect, and connection among students. More importantly, it inspired the entire school community to become active advocates of peace by practicing kindness, embracing inclusivity, fostering mutual respect, and building positive relationships in their everyday lives. The program stands as a testament to the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence but also the character, well-being, and holistic development of every learner.
