A safe school environment begins with words and actions that show respect. Intimidating or threatening learners or personnelโ€”whether done inside or outside the school, in person or through electronic means and social mediaโ€”can have serious consequences.

As reflected in DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, violations may carry corresponding disciplinary measures, including suspension, non-readmission, or exclusion, depending on the offense, along with appropriate referrals for support and intervention.

Before you speak, post, comment, or send a message, think about its impact. Respect is not only expected inside the classroomโ€”it should also guide how we treat one another online and offline.
