Strengthen your research skills and uncover meaningful insights through Qualitative Research!

We are inviting you to join our upcoming Training on Qualitative Research on June 26, 29 - 30, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily via Zoom.

We are privileged to have Asst. Prof. Augil Marie Q. Robles and Asst. Prof. Aniceta Patricia T. Alingasa-Aguirre as our resource persons for this training.

This training is open to socio-economics researchers, students, and practitioners. As slots are limited, interested participants are encouraged to register early. Accepted participants will be notified and required to pay a registration fee of ₱1,800.00. Institutions who are members of TBTI Philippines are entitled to a PHP 250.00 discount.

Community Development Change Agents (CDCAs)

School Year 2025–2026 Accomplishment Report

As the School Year 2025–2026 comes to an end, the Community Development Change Agents (CDCAs), headed by President Jopiter A. Gambay, successfully implemented and conducted various projects and activities that greatly contributed to the growth, unity, and development of the Bachelor of Science in Community Development program.

Major Activities Conducted

1. Orientation and Community Development Team Building

One of the successful activities conducted was the Orientation and Community Development Team Building. The event consisted of a half-day orientation and a one-and-a-half-day team-building activity.

This activity aimed to orient all freshman and transferee students of the Bachelor of Science in Community Development program regarding the importance of the course, its goals, and the policies and regulations under the department. It also helped students become more familiar with the program and strengthen their sense of belonging within the Community Development family.

The team-building activity was very essential for Community Development students because it enhanced the values of communication, cooperation, leadership, camaraderie, teamwork, and unity. Various enjoyable and challenging activities were conducted such as Water Passing, Ground Rules, Electric Wire, and many more. Through these activities, students were able to showcase their abilities, teamwork strategies, creativity, and problem-solving skills while building stronger relationships with one another.

2. Community Development Week

January 29–30, 2026

The Community Development Week Celebration was not just an ordinary event for the department; it was a celebration of strength, success, unity, and camaraderie among Community Development students.

This activity aimed to highlight the importance of the Bachelor of Science in Community Development program and its positive impact on the community. It also served as an opportunity for students to express their talents, skills, and creativity while strengthening friendship and cooperation among everyone.

The celebration included different activities such as sports competitions, arts and cultural presentations, musical activities, fun games, and academic-related events. On the last night of the celebration, a Socialization Night was conducted to promote friendship, unity, and stronger bonds among students, faculty members, and guests.

Projects Successfully Implemented Under CDCAs Officers S.Y. 2025-2026

Through the dedication and leadership of Community Development Change Agents (CDCAs) organization several projects and improvements were successfully implemented for the benefit of the Community Development Department, including:

• Procurement of 5 sets of concrete garden tables and chairs for students’ comfort and convenience during discussions, meetings, and vacant hours.

• Installation of a complete metal bulletin board to properly display announcements, achievements, and important information for students.

• Procurement of 1 brand-new grass mower to help maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the department surroundings.

• Procurement of 1 brand-new Brudo speaker to be used during programs, activities, meetings, and other department events.

• Installation of a water tank to ensure a continuous and accessible water supply within the department.

• Provision of 12 trash bins to promote cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and environmental awareness among students.

• Purchase of extension wires to support electrical needs during programs, seminars, and activities.

Overall, the leadership of the CDCA officers has greatly contributed to the continuous improvement, unity, and success of the Community Development Department. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment have inspired students to become more active, responsible, and united in achieving the goals of the organization and the department.
