The recent SIKAPTala 2025: The National CS & IT Competition, a week-long event that ran from March 24-29 had offered a wide range of opportunities that showcased the capabilities of each Licean representative in the National arena of innovation and technical skills.
Last March 26, three students placed in the top 10 for the SHS Python Skills Competition, with Paul Lawrence B. Tapalla from G12 ICT 3 in 3rd place, Charles O. Solomon and Bradley James G. Alair, both from G12 STEM 38 placed 6th and 9th, respectively.
March 28 had five students clinching spots in the top 10 for the Senior High School Quiz Bee Competition, Ceasar Godinez from G12 ICT 3 in 3rd place, Ryan O. Maganod from G12 STEM 38 in 4th place, Josh Harold F. Deguilmo from G11 STEM 38 in 5th place, Stanley C. Pacarat from G12 ICT 3 in 8th place, and Gevi P. Canoy from G12 ICT 1 in 9th place.
Congratulations to these students who have brought pride to the university, delivering wit and talentโtheir performance solidifying that their preparation and hardships have made them leave a mark not only for the recognition of the university but also for their relentless drive towards excellence.
