Honesty and punctuality took center stage as Kapatagan National High School officially kicked off its Annual Project WATCH for this school year.
The program was led by our energetic and ever-supportive School Principal IV, Ma'am Aimee Amor C. Porto, together with the Designated Assistant to the School Principal, Sir Michael E. Cometa, whose unwavering support continues to strengthen our efforts in promoting core values of honesty, integrity, and punctuality among our learners and school personnel.
During the program, Mrs. Fegil C. Floreno, the School Project WATCH Coordinator, shared the rationale behind Project WATCH, highlighting its alignment with the Department of Education's commitment to developing learners who value honesty, punctuality, integrity, and responsibility. She also introduced the school's key Project WATCH initiatives, including Project IULI (Instilling Unstoppable Honesty Towards Lost Items), the Early Bird Program, the reopening of the Honesty Store, and other value-driven activities designed to encourage students to make honesty and discipline part of their everyday lives.
To make the kickoff more engaging, students actively participated in a trivia challenge about Project WATCH. Those who answered correctly received special tokens, adding excitement while reinforcing their understanding of the program. The celebration concluded with a simple yet meaningful treat as the first 10 customers of the Honesty Store received free ball pen, a small token to encourage honest and responsible behavior.
Indeed, Project WATCH is more than just a program. It is a commitment to building a school culture where honesty is practiced, punctuality is valued, and integrity becomes a way of life. Together, let us continue to make every right choice count, one honest act at a time.

**Relaunching Project WATCH Initiatives!**
Anchored in DepEd Memoranda Nos. 160 and 387 series of 2008, Kapatagan National High School's Project WATCH under the guidance of Mrs. Aimee Amor C. Porto, School Principal IV, is recommitted to reinforce the core values of punctuality and honesty within the school community. This initiative is not just a program; it serves as a continuous reminder, especially for Grade 7 students and transferees.
To promote these values, the Project WATCH team has organized an annual relaunch of its initiatives, which include the Honesty Store, Project I-ULI, an early bird awarding system, and the newest addition, WATCH-a-GAD Banana Chips. These initiatives aim to contribute positively to the transformation of society.
Integrating Biblical verses into Project WATCH further strengthens the program's emphasis on honesty and integrity. Verses such as "Thou shalt not steal" (Exodus 20:15) and the principle of "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much" (Luke 16:10, paraphrase) provide a strong moral foundation for these initiatives.
With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a school environment built on the cornerstones of honesty and punctuality. These initiatives will serve as guiding principles for a year of success and positive change.
