Have a blessed Birthday SCApatid!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. — Jeremiah 29:11

The God Who Sees

How are you?
Are you in the wilderness today?

This campus may be crowded, yet a person can still feel alone. You can be surrounded by people and still feel unseen.

The Psalmist says:

“I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am like an owl of the desert.”
— Psalm 102:6

What a beautiful picture of loneliness. The psalmist describes himself like a bird in a place of isolation—far from where it belongs.

But the Bible gives us people who experienced this kind of loneliness.

Hagar was alone in the wilderness. She had fled from Sarah, but there, God met her. She discovered that even in the wilderness, God saw her.

So she called Him El Roi — “the God who sees me.”
— Genesis 16:13

Leah also knew what it meant to feel unseen and unloved. Genesis 29:31 says:

“When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb.”

People may have overlooked Leah, but God saw her.

And maybe today, you feel like the psalmist—a pelican in the wilderness.
Maybe you feel like Hagar—alone and forgotten.
Maybe you feel like Leah—unloved or overlooked.

But the message is the same:
The God who saw Hagar sees you.
The God who saw Leah sees you.
The God who heard the psalmist sees you.

You may feel unseen, but you are not unseen by God.

Makitkita naka ni Apo, kin haan daka baybay-an.

STRENGTHENED BY PRAYER

As the September 26–27 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination draws near, the KSU-PICE Student Chapter, in partnership with the Student Christ Ambassadors, gathered today, September 18, at the Student Center for a prayer mass for the CELE takers.

Faculty, students, alumni, and supporters joined both in person and online to lift the examinees in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom, strength, peace, and guidance as they take on the boards.

May your preparation be strengthened by faith, and may you enter the examination room with courage and confidence.

Padayon, future civil engineers! We stand with you in prayer. 🙏

THIS WEEK'S SONGS OF HOPE AT THE PARK!

God is at work, and His work is unstoppable! 🙌

This week’s Songs of Hope at the Park was successfully held on both Tuesday and Thursday, bringing songs, fellowship, and the message of hope to students.

📍 Tuesday: In front of the Guidance Office
📍 Thursday: Mini Forest, College of Agriculture

Two days, two places, one purpose — to share the hope we have in Christ.

Thank You, Lord, for every song, every conversation, and every heart reached. May the work continue beyond the park and into every life we encounter.

To God be all the glory!
