Preparedness begins with awareness, planning, and collective action. In times of disaster, every informed decision and every act of readiness can help protect lives, ensure learning continuity, and strengthen community resilience.

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE-BARMM) calls on every Bangsamoro family, learner, educator, and community member to make disaster preparedness a shared responsibility. Preparing a go bag, knowing evacuation routes, participating in disaster drills, and following official advisories are simple but essential steps that can make a life-saving difference.

Guided by the leadership of Interim Chief Minister and Concurrent Minister of MBHTE Hon. Abdulraof A. Macacua, MBHTE-BARMM continues to strengthen disaster risk reduction initiatives that promote safe, resilient, and prepared learning environments across the Bangsamoro Region.

The Ministry remains committed to fostering a culture of preparedness in schools and communities, ensuring that learners, teachers, and education personnel are equipped to respond effectively before, during, and after emergencies.

Together, let us take preparedness seriously, protect one another, and build safer schools, stronger communities, and a more resilient Bangsamoro.

Extended ang ating class suspension dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan na dulot ng habagat na pinalakas ng tropical cyclone Inday. Subalit pinapayuhan ang lahat na huwag kalimutan ang ating mga kwaderno na nakatago sa ating mga bag at baka ito ay magtampo.

Always prepare an emergency kit:
* Drinking water
* Ready-to-eat food for at least 1–2 days
* Flashlight with extra batteries
* Power bank and charging cables
* Basic first aid kit
* Important medicines
* Copies of important documents in a waterproof pouch

When lightning strikes or thunder roars, glorify Allah's greatness by reciting:
𝐒𝐮𝐛ḥā𝐧𝐚 ’𝐥-𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐡ī 𝐲𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢ḥ𝐮𝐫-𝐫𝐚ʿ𝐝𝐮 𝐛𝐢 ḥ𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐢𝐡𝐢 𝐰𝐚 ’𝐥-𝐦𝐚𝐥āʾ𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐤𝐡ī𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐡.

If the rainfall becomes dangerous or causes distress, pray for the storm to move to unpopulated areas using this supplication:
