The first orientation for the Anti-Bullying Campaign for Grade 9 students was successfully conducted on the afternoon of July 17, 2026, at the KNHS Covered Court, carrying the theme, "Strengthening Safety and Security in Schools."
The activity highlighted the emotional, psychological, and social effects of bullying on students and emphasized the importance of fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. It served as a reminder that every learner deserves to feel secure and protected within the school community.
The program was spearheaded by Ma'am Melinda Joy M. Javier, together with the School Council and its Management Team, all Grade 9 Advisers led by Ma'am Haydee S. Gregorio (Curriculum Head), Sir Epimaco Paster Jr., Head Teacher IV of the Araling Panlipunan Department, and Ma'am Ma. Corazon Villaflores, Head Teacher III of the English Department. The activity was further strengthened through the collaboration of the Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by PMAJ Christopher A. Singson, with the support of Ma'am Reduca, Ma'am Tesoro, and Sir Pongao.
The speakers emphasized the importance of treating one another with respect and empathy. They encouraged students to speak up and seek help whenever they experience or witness bullying, reinforcing that everyone has a role in creating a positive and supportive school culture.
Indeed, the orientation left a meaningful impact on the participants by raising awareness of the harmful consequences of bullying and inspiring students to become advocates of respect and inclusivity. Together, let us continue to build a school where every learner feels safe and empowered.
