What to expect from an FBCian Criminologist?

Beyond physical training, FBC's BS Criminology program offers a unique learning experience that will harness the human mind to think 💭🧠. We immerse our students in High-order Thinking through Socratic questioning, case readings, and making outlines of discussions - an effective way to develop good study habits.

All courses in the BS Criminology program are wisely crafted to align with their expected competencies, as prescribed in their PSG.

We don't just prepare our students for the board exams, we prepare them for LIFE. 🌱

Thus, we teach both professional and general education courses in a way that will surely prepare them for their board examinations, professional practice, and in life. Their general education courses will be essential in understanding their major courses, for we aim to produce criminology professionals with both wisdom and character, ready to attain premier spots in the world of work.

FBCian Criminologists are expected to become professionals imbued with intelligence, ability to determine and appraise issues at hand, and an excellent critical thinker in all circumstances.

Beloved FBCians, the season has come for our institution to celebrate the bounty of God's immeasurable blessings as we commemorate its 71st Founding Anniversary. As the English theologian Julian of Norwich once said: "The greatest honor we can give Almighty God is to live gladly because of the knowledge of His love."

As we mark this gracious event, we are reminded to live with joy and gratitude for God's abundant grace over the past 71 years—for the success He has granted this institution, the heavenly wisdom He has bestowed upon the Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff for the betterment of His work, and the continued strength He provides as we press forward toward His upward calling.

In observance of EDSA Day, all classes and office operations will be suspended tomorrow, February 25, 2025.

Classes and offices will resume on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
