The fourth-year education students of the College of Teacher Education, Arts & Sciences (CTEAS) of FBC, from both the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) programs, participated in the 2nd Negros Island and Siquijor Region Student Teachers Summit and Classroom-Based Action Research (CBAR) Congress held at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, on August 22.
Consequently, FBC received a special citation for being the third-largest contingent among the participating schools. The recognition highlighted the schoolโs strong support and the studentsโ enthusiasm and willingness to participate in the event.
With the guidance of Maโam Fepsie Gonzaga and Maโam Angel Mae Balansag, the students took part in the event and gained valuable knowledge and experiences that can help prepare them for their future careers as educators.
The event provided a meaningful opportunity for future educators to learn more about teaching, classroom-based research, and research proposal writing. Through this participation, the students gained insights and experiences that will help them become competent and prepared future educators.
