𝗨𝗦𝗠-𝗗𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Faculty members from the University of Southern Mindanao – Department of Civil Engineering (USM-DCE) participated in the Autodesk Workshop Training held on July 30–31, at the USM Commercial Building.

The event gathered faculty members from the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), the College of Trades and Industries (CTI), and USM Kidapawan City Campus (USM-KCC). It served as a venue for educators to enhance their knowledge and skills in using Autodesk software.

Furthermore, participants received hands-on training on Autodesk tools used in engineering, design, and technology. The activity aimed to strengthen the technical skills of faculty members and help them stay updated with current industry practices.

The Civil Engineering faculty members extend their sincere appreciation to our Civil Engineering alumnus, a member of the University of Southern Mindanao - United Arab Emirates Civil Engineer (USM-UAE CE) Alumni for the generous donation of a speaker to the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

𝗗𝗖𝗘-𝗨𝗦𝗠 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Department of Civil Engineering–USM (DCE-USM) welcomed its freshmen during the first day of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) student orientation held yesterday July 20 at the CEIT Covered Court.

The activity brought together incoming students from the college's different programs as they prepared for the start of Academic Year 2026–2027.

Moreover, it introduced students to the college's faculty members, academic programs, student organizations, and university services. Important reminders on academic policies, student responsibilities, and campus facilities were also discussed to help freshmen become familiar with university life.

The activity marked the official welcome for the college's newest students and provided them with essential information before the opening of classes for the new academic year.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐔𝐒𝐌 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒!

The Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Southern Mindanao proudly congratulates its successful examinees in the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination held on July 11 and 12, 2026 in NCR., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.

USM achieved an impressive 𝟕𝟑.𝟔𝟖% overall passing rate, with a 𝟕𝟓.𝟎𝟎% passing rate among first-time takers and 𝟕𝟏.𝟒𝟑% among repeat takers.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 4,907 out of 6,237 examinees successfully passed the examination, resulting in a national passing rate of 𝟕𝟖.𝟔𝟖%.

The examination was administered by the Board for Master Plumbers, composed of Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, Chairman, and Hon. Jason Magos and Hon. Samuel M. Paete, Members.

This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and technical competence of our graduates. Your USM Civil Engineering family celebrates this significant milestone with you. May you uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and excellence as you begin a new chapter in the plumbing profession.
