Fostering linkages and ensuring the implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum, ๐ ๐ฎ๐บ๐น๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น partners with ๐๐น๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐น๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ (๐๐ฃ๐๐ข-๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐), for the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง of TVL-AFA major in Agri-crops Production SHS students.
This partnership was made possible through the approval of the Office of Governor, headed by Hon. Atty. Edcel Greco Alexandre B. Lagman Jr. A Memorandum of Agreement was signed between APAO-AFBVILLE, represented by, Ms. Cheryll O. Rebeta, Provincial Agriculturist, and Mr. Micheal Angelo T. Nuรฑez, APAO-Work Immersion Coordinator and for Mamlad High School, represented by Mrs. Josephine B. Naparam, School Head, and Mr. Nickole G. Ordiales, Work Immersion Coordinator.
On March 11, 2024, at approximately 7:35 AM, twenty-one Grade 12 students, their teacher, and accompanying parents-in-charge arrived at APAO-AFBVille. The partner institution's staff warmly welcomed and efficiently accommodated them. Mr. Nickole G. Ordiales, the Work Immersion Coordinator and Teacher, in collaboration with Mrs. Josephine B. Naparam, School Head of Mamlad High School, directed the deployment of the Grade 12 student trainees. Alongside, supportive parents, namely Mrs. Salve B. Panteriore, Mrs. Margie Notob, and Mrs. Emily G. Hernandez, are actively involved, offering assistance, preparing meals, and ensuring the students' well-being throughout their 12-day stay at APAO.
The first day started with an orientation given by Mr. Micheal Angelo T. Nuรฑez on the workplace, specifically the rules and regulations, and reminders that the student trainees should take into consideration in their 10-day Work Immersion. Mr. Francisco Obina, Farm Manager, oriented the student-trainees on what are expected of them by introducing the activities and the trainers for the whole duration of the Work Immersion. The student trainees were toured to the different working stations inside the APAO-AFBVille. They were also grouped with other schools such as the San Isidro National High School and Lower Binogsacan High School.
Furthermore, Mrs. Sonia Nacion, the Dorm Manager, gave an orientation on how the student trainees should maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the dorm vicinity. She also reiterated to take their personal belongings accountable and to secure them.
In the afternoon, Mr. Angelo Rosalita, the Farm Trainer, discussed the Introduction to Agricultural Crops Production. The student-trainees actively listened to the lecture and took notes on important details regarding the current state of the Philippinesโ agriculture, topics on different farm tools, implements, and equipment, and safety procedures for handling farm tools, among others.
The first day of Work Immersion gave the Grade 12 students a snippet of what a real workplace aligned with their chosen strand looks like. As the student trainees concluded their first day of training, we continued to implore the aid of Almighty God for their safety and protection.
The Mamlad High School community wishes and prays for a successful Work Immersion for the Grade 12 student trainees. We thank everyone, our parents, partner institutions, and other stakeholders for making this 2024 Work Immersion possible.
