As Typhoon Uwan approaches, our hearts may feel heavy with worry for our families and communities. In these moments, we are reminded that God is greater than any storm and His presence brings peace even before the winds begin to blow.

Let us pause and pray:

Lord, we lift up the Philippines to You, trusting in Your loving care. Protect every family, especially those in vulnerable areas. Calm the winds and soften the rains; let the storm pass with minimal harm. Strengthen the hearts of those preparing and responding, and give us wisdom to act with caution and faith.
May this approaching storm remind us to turn to You for refuge, to rely on Your strength, and to trust in Your perfect plan. Keep our hope anchored in You, our shelter and protector through every trial.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
