The College of Education (COED) of Mindanao State Universityโ€“Sulu successfully conducted its Pre-Service Teachersโ€™ Pinning Ceremony on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Capitol Gymnasium, Bangkal, Patikul, Sulu, carrying the theme, โ€œPinned with Purpose, Driven to Inspire: The Journey of Future Educators.โ€

The ceremony brought together pre-service teachers from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) programs in English, Science, and Mathematics, and the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), marking a meaningful milestone in their journey toward the teaching profession.

The program featured the processional, invocation, Philippine National Anthem, MSU-Sulu Hymn, opening remarks from Ms. Morena A. Abdulla, FETP President, and a message of support from Prof. Fermina O. Anuddin, Ed.D., Dean of the College of Education, who conveyed her encouragement to the future educators as they prepare to embrace the responsibilities and challenges of the profession.

The highlight of the event was the pinning ceremony, symbolizing the pre-service teachersโ€™ growing commitment to their chosen profession and their readiness to take another step toward becoming dedicated educators.

The ceremony concluded with the closing remarks of Mr. Al-Nashriff H. Ahamad, FSTO President, with Mr. Radam J. Yusop, MALTE, serving as Master of Ceremony.
