MSU-Sulu COED Produces 74 New Licensed Teachers in September 2025 LET

Mindanao State University–Sulu (MSU-Sulu), through its College of Education (COED), proudly celebrates the success of its graduates who passed the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), marking another milestone in the university’s commitment to academic excellence and quality teacher education.

A total of seventy-four (74) COED graduates successfully earned their professional licenses, with thirty-five (35) passers in the Elementary Level and thirty-nine (39) in the Secondary Level. This achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and competence of the graduates, as well as the unwavering guidance of their mentors and faculty members.

The success of these new licensed teachers underscores MSU-Sulu’s continued efforts to produce globally competitive and values-oriented educators who are ready to serve communities and contribute meaningfully to nation-building through education.

The MSU-Sulu administration extends its heartfelt congratulations to the successful examinees and expresses deep appreciation to the College of Education faculty, review mentors, and families whose support played a vital role in this achievement.

As these new professional teachers embark on their teaching careers, MSU-Sulu remains confident that they will uphold the ideals of integrity, excellence, and service—bringing honor to the university and making a lasting impact in classrooms across the country.

On November 23, 2025, FETO and GEC united for an impactful Team Building Activity at the beautiful Tanduh Beach, Parang, Sulu! This event, spearheaded by our dedicated advisers, Mr. Gadzfar H. Dammang and Mrs. Jicky Joy B. Sahirul, successfully fostered unity and camaraderie among all officers. A productive day of collaboration, fun, and connection!

This joint team-building initiative directly supports SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening inter-organizational cooperation and contributes to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by fostering a more unified and inclusive institutional culture．

Cultivating Quality Educators: Practice Teacher Pullout Aligns with SDG 4

In a concerted effort to uphold quality education as mandated by UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), the supervised pullout of Practice Teachers from various elementary schools has been successfully executed. This marks a vital step in their journey towards becoming proficient educators, transitioning from observation to hands-on apprenticeship experiences.

This strategic pullout and subsequent apprenticeship phase directly supports SDG 4's target to increase the supply of qualified teachers, providing student-teachers with practical, real-world experience essential for developing the pedagogical skills required for inclusive and equitable quality education.

The knowledge, guidance, and hands-on experience they gained during their observation and apprenticeship phases were invaluable. On October 21, 2025, FETO and GEC Officers held a 2nd General Meeting together with Mr. Gadzfar H. Dammang.

The meeting highlighted the calendar of activities of both organizations and the preparation of accomplishment and liquidation reports.

The quorum was met as 90% of members were in attendance.

Vice President of GEC took also his oath of office as he wasn't able to attend the Oath-Taking Ceremony on October 11, 2025.
