Today, Agutayon Elementary School joins the Catholic community in celebrating the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our beloved Mama Mary. 💙🤍

May her life of faith, humility, obedience, and love continue to inspire our learners, teachers, parents, and the entire school community to walk with kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith.

As we celebrate her special day, may Mama Mary always guide and protect our school family, intercede for us in our prayers, and lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Agutayon Elementary School Celebrates National Heroes Day 2026

Agutayon Elementary School proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Heroes Day on August 31, 2026, a meaningful occasion dedicated to honoring the courage, sacrifices, patriotism, and selfless service of the Filipino heroes who helped shape our nation’s history and identity.

This celebration reminds our learners that heroism is not only found in the pages of history but can also be seen in the everyday acts of kindness, courage, service, honesty, and love for our country. Through this commemoration, Agutayon ES encourages every learner to learn from the lives and values of our heroes and become responsible citizens who can contribute positively to their family, school, community, and nation.

As we remember great Filipinos such as Dr. José Rizal, Andrés Bonifacio, Gabriela Silang, Apolinario Mabini, Emilio Aguinaldo, and many other heroes, may their legacy continue to inspire the young generation to stand for what is right, serve others, and dream of a better Philippines.

This photo captures the dedicated teachers of Agutayon Elementary School working together to make the scouting experience of their pupils enjoyable, meaningful, and memorable. More than simply being a group photo, it reflects the spirit of teamwork, commitment, service, and genuine care for the children.

These teachers generously share their time, skills, energy, and dedication to support the school’s scouting activities. Through their guidance and active participation, they help pupils develop important values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, leadership, resourcefulness, confidence, and appreciation for nature and community.

The smiles captured in the photo represent the joy and fulfillment of teachers who are willing to go beyond the classroom to create meaningful learning experiences for their pupils. Their presence and support help transform scouting activities into opportunities where children can learn new skills, build friendships, discover their abilities, and create lasting memories.

Behind every successful and enjoyable scouting activity are teachers who work tirelessly—often behind the scenes—to ensure that every child has an opportunity to participate, learn, and have fun. Their dedication demonstrates that education goes beyond academic lessons; it is also about character formation, leadership development, teamwork, and creating experiences that children will treasure.

Their commitment beautifully reflects the school mantra:

“Agutayon ES: Where Minds Shine, Hearts Grow, and Excellence is a Pursuit.”

Through the guidance of these teachers, minds shine as pupils learn new skills and discover their potential; hearts grow through friendship, service, cooperation, and compassion; and excellence is pursued as every child is encouraged to give their best.

Behind every happy Scout are dedicated teachers who guide, encourage, and inspire. The teachers of Agutayon Elementary School truly embody the spirit of service and commitment—because for them, teaching does not end inside the classroom. It continues wherever there is an opportunity to teach, guide, inspire, and help children become responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals.
