🇫🇷 SPFL-French in Action: Apprendre en parlant!

From prayer and counting 1–30 to practicing formal and informal greetings, our learners explored French through reading dialogues, identifying appropriate responses, and choosing the right expressions for different situations.

The fun continued with a French Expression Race and a creative Mini Talk Show, where students applied what they learned in real-life conversations.

A day filled with listening, speaking, reading, critical thinking, and creativity- all while building confidence in using French! 🩵

EDUCATION IN EMERGENCIES

Même à la maison, nous apprenons!
(Even at home, we learn!)

In support of the implementation of Education in Emergencies (EIE) due to class suspension, our SPFL-French learners shifted to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure learning continues beyond the classroom.
It may have moved learning beyond the classroom, but it has not stopped our SPFL-French learners from pursuing excellence. Through ADM, they continue to accomplish their activities and strengthen their French language skills - one lesson at a time.

🎳 SPFL Learners in Action: MAPEH Bowling Activity 💙

Our SPFL-French learners had a great time during their MAPEH Bowling Activity, showcasing teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship using improvised materials such as recycled bottles and a ball. The activity proved that creativity and enthusiasm can turn simple materials into meaningful learning experiences.

A heartfelt appreciation to their creative, dedicated, and innovative MAPEH teacher, Mr. Rosheilan Adelantar, for making this activity both engaging and enjoyable for our learners.

🇫🇷 SPFL-French in Action:
Les mois de l’année (Months of the Year)

Aligned with the SPFL-French competencies, our learners strengthened their listening and speaking skills through pronunciation drills, basic French conversations, and partner practice on the months of the year.

To foster critical thinking, students completed the Story Timeline Activity, where they listened to a story, arranged the months in the correct sequence, and connected them to familiar Philippine celebrations and occasions, identifying the month each is celebrated. This helped them apply their learning while becoming more aware of important events in the country.

Learning French is more than memorizing words- it’s about communicating, listening, and making meaningful connections.

Even with class suspension, learning never stops. Our learners stayed engaged through Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) by accomplishing their French activities from home.

🇫🇷 Grade 7 SPFL-Paris in Action: Apprendre en s’amusant!🩵

Our Grade 7 SPFL-French learners had an interactive review of French numbers (1–30), the French alphabet, and polite expressions before discovering a new lesson on the days of the week through songs and engaging classroom activities.

They learned the French days of the week by singing, making pronunciation easier and more enjoyable.

To reinforce their learning, they participated in the Calendar Relay Race, where teams raced to correctly arrange the days of the week in the fastest time. Another activity challenged learners to spell the French days of the week, a fun way to improve both spelling and pronunciation.

These activities promote collaboration,confidence, quick thinking & meaningful language practice while proving that learning French can be both educational and enjoyable.
