Cuyago, Jabonga, February 14, 2025- In a remarkable deviation from the usual Valentineβs Day celebrations, Cuyago Elementary School spearheaded a meaningful initiative focusing on love and awareness. Instead of the customary pageants and festive events, the school chose to commemorate the day with a Special Valentineβs Day Awareness Event under the theme βLove Yourself: Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to a Brighter Future.β
The event, held at the school mini gym, was a collaboration between Cuyago Elementary School and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Jabonga. It aimed to address the alarming prevalence of drug-related issues affecting the youth, reinforcing the school's commitment to the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) and raising awareness on child protection and online exploitation.
