The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Burgos, Isabela, in coordination with DOH, local offices, and partner agencies, invites selected students of Bacnor National High School to participate in โ€œTeen Talk: Empowering Isabeleรฑo Youth (EIY)โ€, an adolescent health and development advocacy campaign.

The activity aims to provide young people with meaningful learning opportunities on adolescent health and development, reproductive health awareness, responsible decision-making, teenage pregnancy prevention, and youth advocacy.

Sa buwan na ito, ating ipinapaalala na ang bawat buhay ay mahalaga. Maraming tao ang tahimik na nakikipaglaban sa loob gamit ang maskara pantakip sa kalungkutan, sa bigat ng problema, at sa mga sugat na hindi nakikita ng iba. Kayaโ€™t mahalaga na alamin muna natin ang kanilang personal na buhay bago ang makapag bitaw ng hindi magandang salita o ikakasakit ng kanilang damdamin, palagi tayong maging handang makinig, magpakita ng malasakit, at magbigay ng pag-asa sa mga taong dumaraan sa ganitong laban.

Ang simpleng pakikipag-usap, pakikinig nang walang paghusga, at pagpaparamdam na may karamay at masasandalan ay malaking tulong na. Minsan sapat na ang ating presensiya upang ipaalala sa kanila na hindi sila nag-iisa.

May mga handa ring makinig at maaaring lapitan kung kailangan, mga kaibigan, pamilya, g**o, o mga propesyonal na handang umalalay. Ang pagbabahagi ng nararamdaman ay hindi kahinaan, kundi patunay ng katapangan.

Magkaisa tayo sa pagbibigay ng pag-asa at liwanag. Huwag matakot magkwento o makinig tungkol sa kalusugan ng isip, dahil kahit isang simpleng usapan ay puwedeng makaligtas ng buhay.

Hindi lahat ng indibidwal ay magkakapareho ang abilidad. May mga ilan na nahihirapan sa isang bagay. May ilan ding nagiging mahusay sa isang partikular. Kaya hindi lahat ay magkakapareho ang taas ng kagalingan. May iba't iba tayong kakayahan na wala sa iba, at maaaring wala rin sa atin yung mayroon sila.

Huwag mong ikumpara ang sarili mo sa iba kung hindi mo nakuha ang score na minimithi, bagkus huminga ka at sabihing, "bawi ka sa susunod, self!" At kung nasungkit mo man ang score na gusto mo, icelebrate mo na ito.
