Calanigan National High School (CNHS) once again stood tall as the Santo Tomas District Athletic Association (STDAA) Meet volleyball boys champion, extending its remarkable reign to a 13th consecutive year.
CNHS kept its grip on the boysโ volleyball crown after fending off a determined field of contenders, securing another championship and extending its historic winning streak to 13 consecutive titles.
The latest triumph further cemented the CNHS spikersโ status as a perennial powerhouse in district volleyball, keeping the gold within their grasp for more than a decade despite the growing challenge from teams determined to end their reign.

COURT SUPREMACY: CNHS captures badminton overall crown with 4 golds, 2 silvers, 1 bronze
Calanigan National High School (CNHS) ruled the badminton competition after securing four gold medals, two silvers, and one bronze to emerge as the overall champion.
Emmanuel A. Balisi spearheaded CNHSโ golden campaign after claiming the Menโs Singles title, while he also teamed up with Ghilyan C. Barut to capture the Mixed Doubles championship.
The menโs doubles pair of Caiven Ray N. Agapinan and Brix Mikosam T. Garro likewise delivered a gold-medal performance, completing CNHSโ sweep of the menโs and mixed doubles events.
Barut added another medal to CNHSโ haul after finishing with silver in Womenโs Singles, while Princess Alyanna Yzabelle T. Garro and Jenelyn S. Daguro secured another silver in Womenโs Doubles.
Meanwhile, Hanna Czarmaine G. Ventura contributed a bronze in Womenโs Singles, rounding out CNHSโ seven-medal haul.

CNHS athletes delivered standout performances, securing multiple medals across track-and-field events in STDAA Meet 2026.
Leading the charge, Jeff B. Ulant seized gold in the 100m Run, setting the pace for CNHSโs strong showing in Athletics. He also added a bronze in the Long Jump.
The silver finishers followed, with Mary Joy Lumabi claiming runner-up spots in the 100m Run and 200m Run, joined by Victor Arcona in the 200m Run, Mei Claire Padre in the 400m Run, and Adrian Padre in Shot Put.
Nicole L. Mallanao likewise secured silver in Shot Put and Javelin, complemented by a bronze in Discus Throw.
Rounding out the podium finishers, Ma. Claudeth L. Quirante bagged bronze in both the Long Jump and Tripple Jump, while Larry Apostol, Jordan Agmata, and Angelito F. Madamba placed third in the 400m Run, Javelin, and High Jump, respectively.
The strong performances earned Mary Joy Lumabi, Nicole L. Mallanao, and Jeff B Ulant spots as CNHS Area Qualifiers, advancing to the next level of competition.

CHESS MASTERS IN MOTION: CNHS bets bring home STDAA medals
Calanigan National High School (CNHS) chess bets turned in a strong campaign at the Santo Tomas District Athletic Association (STDAA) Meet, collecting two golds, two silvers, and one bronze across the individual and team events.
Jessica Mae Moral claimed gold in the Chess Girls individual event, while Aiza Joy Galapon secured silver. The Chess Girls team also captured gold in the team category.
In the Chess Boys division, Psalm David Baui bagged bronze in the individual event, while Justine Galapon competed for CNHS. The Chess Boys team added another silver in the team category.
Backed by calculated moves, tactical play, and composure under pressure, the CNHS chess bets made their moves count throughout the meet.

Taking on the districtโs toughest rallies, CNHS table tennis players delivered a strong showing at the Santo Tomas District Athletic Association (STDAA) Meet, securing one silver and two bronze medals across the doubles and singles events.
Leading the charge, Gian Carlo A. Tumamao and Andres Dave E. Galasinao claimed silver in Menโs Doubles, battling through the twice-to-beat advantage before falling just short of the championship.
Adding to CNHSโ medal tally, Renz C. Queja claimed bronze in Menโs Singles B, while Aliyah Mae V. Acob and Marimar B. Valdez brought home another bronze in Womenโs Doubles.

Seven CNHS Taekwondo jins turned the mat into a golden stage, sweeping seven gold medals to lead Calanigan National High Schoolโs campaign at the Santo Tomas District Athletic Association (STDAA) meet.
Leading the charge in the Womenโs Division were Princess Sheriza T. Viernes, Jaycel L. Baricaua, Mika Ayesha A. Padre, Kathlyn-J A. Tamayo, and Klerizh A. Padron, all claiming gold in their respective categories.
The Menโs Division added two more golden finishes through Jay-Em O. Morales, who topped the Kyurogi category, and Bobby Lopez Jr., who captured gold in Poomsae (Freestyle).
