𝙍𝙊𝙓𝘼𝙎, 𝙄𝙎𝘼𝘽𝙀𝙇𝘼 — August 18, 2026 — Aspiring young writers and radio broadcasters of La Salette of Roxas College participated in the Roxas East District Schools Press Conference 2026.

Held at Roxas Central School, Elementary Journalist took part in various categories with the guidance of their coaches, Ma’am Emmalyn A. Legaspi and Ma’am Jasmin Claire T. Llapitan.

On the other hand, the Radio Broadcasting Teams proudly represented the school at Lanting Region National High School, under the guidance of their coaches Sir Mark Vinson M. Parado, Sir Michael Angelo M. Manuel, and Sir Airan Christian Madamba.

Through their dedication, courage, and love for journalism, the Salettinians made their mark at the 2026 Roxas East District Schools Press Conference.

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

In Elementary Lawn Tennis, Aeraja Zethroe F. Gomez emerged as Champion in Singles A – Boys, while Juan Maximo U. Darang secured the Championship in Singles B – Boys, under the guidance of Coach Jehhhaira D. Alzate.

The school also extends its warmest congratulations to the Baseball Team, coached by Sir Airan Christian Madamba; the Badminton Team, coached by Ma’am Odessa Transfiguracion; and the Chess Team, coached by Sir Marvin Eusebio, for their dedication and proud representation of La Salette of Roxas College, Inc. Your achievements reflect the strength of teamwork, perseverance, and the true Salettinian spirit of excellence. Congratulations, athletes and coaches! You have made LSRC proud!

𝐑𝐨𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 (𝐋𝐒𝐑𝐂) 𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Roxas East, represented by La Salette of Roxas College, Inc. clinched a triumph against Roxas West , represented by Worldstar Colleges, Inc. in a thrilling showdown with a score of 93-78, held at San Jose Community Center, August 15, 2026.

Salettinian athletes started strong as Castro scored the first three points of the game, giving them an early advantage to lead the game.

Zulueta, a Grade 10 student, also contributed a multiple three point shots that leads them to seal the victory and secured their spot in the Area Meet.

With the support of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐃. 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐩𝐚𝐜, the head coach, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐌. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥, , the assistant coach, the team stayed focused and kept their momentum going. Their teamwork and determination helped them to stay in control and maintain the lead for the team.

"I wanted to thank God for guiding us through this journey, and also sa coach namin na naniwala na kayang kaya namin ipanalo 'tong larong 'to. And to all my supportive teammates who stood by each other. All I can say is that worth it lahat ng practices na ginawa namin through this journey." Salacup, the team captain, said.

The victory showed the true Salettinian spirit as the team played with unity, determination, and sportsmanship. They supported one another, stayed focused, and fought hard until the final whistle.

ROXAS, ISABELA – Ginunita ng mga mag-aaral ng La Salette of Roxas College, Inc. ang Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary ngayong araw, Agosto 14, 2026, sa Our Lady of La Salette Parish, Roxas, Isabela.

Isinagawa ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng Banal na Misa na pinangunahan ni Rev. Fr. Constante D. Dannug, MS, bilang paggunita sa dakilang kapistahan ng Assumption of Mary.

Kabilang sa mga isinagawang gawain ang panunumpa ng mga opisyal at miyembro ng mga club, Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony ng mga mag-aaral sa kolehiyo, at flower offering bilang pagpapakita ng debosyon at paggalang kay Birheng Maria.

Sa banal na homiliya, binigyang-diin ni Rev. Fr. Dannug ang “Sacred Necessities of Life,” na binubuo ng dalawang mahalagang pagpapahalaga, kababaang-loob (humility) upang makilala ang presensya ng Diyos at kagalakan (joy) upang buong pusong tanggapin si Kristo nang walang pag-aalinlangan.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagdiriwang na ito, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga Saletino na pagtibayin ang kanilang pananampalataya at debosyon kay Birheng Maria.

𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩, 𝘽𝙞𝙜 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩!🧼🫧

Salettinian students took part in a handwashing activity reinforcing the importance of proper hygiene and disease prevention. By practicing correct handwashing techniques, they learned that a simple habit can make a big difference in keeping themselves and the community safe and healthy.

Through proper handwashing, we protect ourselves, care for others, and build a healthier future—one wash at a time.
