Aguinaldians, 33/33
As the song says, "Please tell them my name" from Taylor Swift's Long Live, we were only dreamers back then, to see our names on the achievers list. Every quarter, we would patiently wait for it to be posted on that wall. And everytime it was, it would never fail to make us shout because of excitement. It was never lost every end of quarter that you would hear joyful cheers inside the Aguinaldo room. "Congratulations", "Naka-survive tayo!", "Bawi next quarter.", "With honors/ with high honors na'ko next!" were some of the common phrases that would be heard after that. And we would count how many are still not on the list and everytime, a passion to help everyone, the empathy, the determination to see their names on the list the next time around would ignite much ore than ever before. We never saw each other as a competition but in fact, a comrade. And here we are now. Finally, all those names are now written on the history book page.
This was never an end of a decade, but a start of an age for all the Aguinaldians who persevered on these journey. Truly, no comrade was left behind on this battle.
Alpas, Aguinaldo.
If there is one more person who is the happiest and most proudest right now other than ourselves and our parents, that is our dearest Adviser. Thank you for everything, Ma'am Glenda. Rest assured, your words are engraved deep within our hearts and we will carry it in our next journey. As you have said, this is not a goodbye but a see you later.
We love you so much, Ma'am.
