Today, August 10, 2026, the two SSLG Officers of Imelda R. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Mabbayad Annex actively participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Echague Municipal Hall. Princess Urcia (SSLG President) and Margie Baccay (SSLG Vice President) proudly represented the school in this meaningful activity. After the ceremony, they proceeded to perform their assigned duties at the office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Echague, gaining valuable experience in public service, leadership, and civic engagement.

We are grateful to Vice Mayor Allan Tupong, who led and provided guidance and instructions to the youth officers alongside the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, giving our student leaders a meaningful opportunity to learn about public service and local governance. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

The Imelda R. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Mabbayad Annex SSLG Officers actively participated in the St. Joseph Youth Convention 2026, held at SSJW, as part of the schoolโ€™s continuing commitment to youth leadership and community involvement. ๐Ÿค

The Youth participants of Mabbayad Annex were sponsored by the Youth Ministry of the Shrine of St. Joseph the Worker, making their participation in this meaningful activity possible. Their generous support provided the young participants with an opportunity to engage, learn, and grow through the convention. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

The convention brought together young leaders in an avenue for learning, fellowship, faith formation, and leadership development, providing participants with meaningful experiences and insights that can be applied in their respective schools and communities. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ™โœจ

Following the convention, the SSLG officers also took part in an SSLG Training held at the LGU Mayorโ€™s Office. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ The training focused on strengthening their leadership capabilities, enhancing their understanding of student governance, and preparing them to become more effective representatives of the student body. ๐Ÿ’ช

Through these activities, the IRMHSโ€“Mabbayad Annex SSLG Officers continue to uphold the values of leadership, service, and responsibility, recognizing that meaningful leadership is rooted not only in leading others but also in the willingness to learn and serve. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿค

The School Head of Imelda R. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Mabbayad Annex delivered his message on behalf of the Department of Education (DepEd) Echague during the 16th Mobile Session of the 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Isabela, held at the Echague Community Center. The session highlighted the Provincial and National Government's commitment to addressing the province's classroom shortage through the implementation of new elementary and high school classroom projects.

The recipient schools also expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the newly approved classroom buildings, made possible through the support of Honorable Speaker Bogie Dy, the initiative of DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, and the approval of President Bongbong Marcos.

The event was graced by Hon. Vice Governor Francis "Kiko" A. Dy, Presiding Officer; Hon. Mayor Faustino "Inno" A. Dy V; Ma'am Jessica Gallegos Dy; Vice Mayor Allan Tupong; the Municipal Councilors; Barangay Officials; Board Members; and representatives from various government agencies and organizations. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Mabbayad Annex's Project EARTH (Environment Advocacy Revitalize The Habitat), the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Officers successfully spearheaded a Tree Planting Activity as one of the highlights of the initiative. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿค A variety of fruit-bearing tree seedlings, including rambutan, santol, calamansi, tamarind, coconut, and mango, were planted to promote environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and long-term food security while fostering a greener and healthier school environment.๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฅฅ

๐ŸŒฟ Through the leadership of Ma'am Prima C. Mendejar being the YES-O adviser, and under the guidance of Dr. Roman C. A Meeting with the 4p's parents was successfully conducted under the leadership of Sir Melvin P. Adurable, under the guidance and support of Dr. Roman C. De Vera, School Head of Imelda R. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Annex. The meeting served as a venue to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents in promoting the academic success and overall well-being of 4Ps learners.

The agenda included the monitoring of learners' attendance to ensure regular school participation and compliance with program requirements, as well as the establishment of the School Garden (Gulayan sa Paaralan) to promote nutrition, environmental stewardship, and active community participation.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to all parents who attended and actively participated in the meeting. Their continued cooperation and commitment are essential in creating a supportive learning environment and ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

A significant step toward progress was taken today at Imelda R. Marcos High Schoolโ€“Annex as Engr. Ereneo Agustin from the Municipal Engineering Office, LGU Echague, Isabela, conducted the site measurement for the proposed additional two-storey building.

Adding to this exciting development, plans for the concreting of the school pathway are also underway, paving the way for safer, more accessible, and more convenient movement within the school campus. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ

These initiatives mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter that will provide better facilities, improved learning environments, and greater opportunities for our learners and the entire school community. ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿซ
