Today we are celebrating Gaudete Sunday, this is the day where we are reminded of a joy that is to come.

O God, who see how your people faithfully await the feast of the Lord's Nativity, enable us, we pray, to attain the joys of salvation, and to celebrate them always with solemn worship and glad rejoicing.

Amen.

Together with the celebration of the feast of the Immaculate Conception, we also celebrate the closing of the Year of St. Joseph.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡'𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so prompt, so strong, before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.

Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart.
Press him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, patron of departing souls - pray for me.

FLASH NEWS | Pope John Paul I, the 'Smiling Pope', is now a step closer to sainthood

Pope Francis has authorized the Congregation for the Causes of Saints to promulgate the decree on a miraculous healing attributed to the intercession of Pope John Paul I.

The late Pope John Paul I, the pope who only reigned for 33 days, will be beatified and Pope Francis will decide upon a date for the ceremony. He served as the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church from August 26 to September 28, 1978.

Month of the Holy Rosary | October

The whole month of October is dedicated to the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

May the mysteries of the Rosary of our Mother, teach us and help us to be closer to her son, Jesus Christ.
