Last Friday, August 14, 2026, our Grade 4 โ€“ St. Lawrence, Grade 5 โ€“ St. Sebastian, and Grade 6 โ€“ St. Carlo Acutis gathered for a meaningful and enriching Recollection at San Isidro Labrador Chapel in Palabotan, Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya, led by Rev. Von Ryan S. Martinez.

The children were reminded of the importance of respecting everyone and valuing each personโ€™s name, because every name is precious. They were also encouraged to never bully others and to value the love, guidance, and importance of family.

One reflection that stood out was the image of carrying two sacks: a sack of gifts and a sack of problems. When asked which was heavier, the children answered, โ€œThe sack of problems.โ€

This reminded them that even at a young age, they experience worries and challenges. But they also learned that they do not have to carry these burdens alone. With faith, hope, love, and trust in God, they can face every challenge with courage.

May they continue to grow with kindness, respect, love, and faith, knowing that God is always with them.

Last Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the Faculty and Staff of Saint Maryโ€™s School of Dupax, Inc. gathered for a meaningful Religious Education Formation โ€“ a time of learning, reflection, and deepening of faith.

The formation was led by Frt. Gabriel Ma. De Jesus, FSM, whose insights and guidance encouraged everyone to strengthen their relationship with God and live out their faith in their vocation as educators.

The activity was also graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Juvert D. Calixtro, whose spiritual guidance continues to inspire the school community in its mission of faith, service, and education.

May this formation remind us that education is not only about shaping minds, but also about nurturing hearts and strengthening faith.

Saint Maryโ€™s School of Dupax, Inc. is grateful to the BFP Dupax del Sur Fire Station for their continued partnership and commitment to keeping our school community safe.

We are incredibly proud of our student-responders from Saint Maryโ€™s School of Dupax, Inc. for participating in the Inter-School Rescue Olympics 2026 held this July 25, 2026, at Dupax Central School, Barangay Domang, Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya.

Organized by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMC), this event provided an avenue for trained high school responders to showcase their skills, strengthen their knowledge in emergency response, learn new techniques and best practices in disaster preparedness, and connect with fellow young responders.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Dupax del Sur and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), headed by Mr. Gerry D. Daran, for organizing this meaningful and valuable event. This Friday, Saint Maryโ€™s School of Dupax, Inc. held the Induction of the Family Council Officers, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) during the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Frans T. Balinggan.
