Long before the final layouts were submitted and the last headlines were written, there were students who chose to stay behind after classes, chase deadlines, write stories, and carry The Ambassadors through every challenge the year demanded.

Some worked in silence behind the scenes. Others led from the front, guiding every issue with steady hands and sharper minds. Together, they built more than a publication, they built a space where voices were heard, stories mattered, and truth was given a place to live.

Every feature published, every caption perfected, every page finalized carried pieces of them: their passion, sacrifices, laughter, pressure, and persistence. What readers saw as finished outputs were actually the result of countless unseen hours and unwavering dedication.

Now, the press room grows quieter as our Editors and Publication Staff Graduates write their final chapter with The Ambassadors.

But even after the last issue, traces of them remain in every story we continue to tell.

Padayon, Ambassadors. The ink may dry, but what you left behind never will.

We also extend our gratitude to our teachers who became second mothers inside the classroom, guiding students not only through lessons, but also through life with patience, wisdom, and compassion.

To all mothers, grandmothers, guardians, and teachers, thank you for the endless love and guidance you give to others.

April 17, Harvest Night at the UCC Gymnasium brought together academic achievers, champion athletes, supportive mentors, and generous partners to celebrate feat, talent, and service.

The evening also featured inspiring performances and the symbolic turnover of student leadership through the schoolโ€™s Commission on Elections and Student Government Executive Assembly.

As the first ever Harvest Night, the program showcased SHSโ€™s commitment to excellence by honoring students who excelled in academics and sports, along with sponsors who contributed to the communityโ€™s success.

School Administrator Dr. Eva D. Arcena formally opened the celebration, joined by Principal Ms. Jacquelaine L. Jacob and members of the Parent-Teacher Association.

Inspiring performances, including a song number by Juliel Margo C. Orap and Matteo Santino P. Valera and a storytelling demonstration from Jae Won F. Han, added vibrancy to the evening.

The program also included heartfelt testimonials from Joshua Vaughn Q. Asuncion and the incoming SGEA Presidents Akio A. Tanimoto (Elementary), Hadi Lu R. Magpayo (Junior High School), and Prince Stephen D. David (Senior High School).

The night concluded with the singing of the UCC Hymn, leaving the community inspired and proud of its collective achievements.

In an exclusive discussion with Ms. Pauline Jen L. Belamide, the Student Affairs Supervisor, she emphasized that โ€œThe best harvest comes from hard work and a genuine smile โ€” just like sweet crops after a long season of effort.โ€

Unida Christian Colleges (UCC) is adopting the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, replacing traditional strands with clusters that allow incoming Grade 11 students to choose between the Academic and Technical Professional (TechPro) tracks.

The new curriculum was introduced by Mr. Mark Anthony Corres, Mr. Reymart Almaroza, Mr. Jerome Ramos, and Ms. Lorena Laรฑohan to incoming students and their parents during the orientation at the Main Building on April 13, with additional sessions on April 20 and April 27 for families who were absent from the initial meeting.

Under the Academic Pathway, learners can choose specialized clusters in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (ASSH), and Business and Entrepreneurship (BE).

Meanwhile, the Technical Professional (TechPro) Pathway offers industrial skills focusing on Hospitality and Tourism (HT) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). The HT cluster includes Food and Beverages Services, Bakery Operations, Events Management Services, Tourism Services, and Housekeeping Services clusters. On the other hand, the ICT cluster offers Java programming, .NET programming, and Computer System Servicing (CSS).

Mr. Corres stated that the changes in the curriculum will alter subject offerings and require adjustments from teachers, students, and parents.

"This new curriculum makes changes in the subjects as well as the way we design the career paths for our students," Corres said.

Students may also combine Academic and Technical Professional (TechPro) tracks to attain multiple sets of skills. In addition, strands were no longer to be used to refer to the categories that a student may fall into, now replacing them with clusters.

As the orientation ended, former SGEA officers led by Ms. Faith Francisco, Mr. Jayson Babansag, and Mr. Yohan Kenji Atanacio brought the incoming students and anticipating parents on a campus tour to familiarize them with UCCโ€™s environment.

Ultimately, the new SHS strengthened curriculum aims to instill an understanding of a modified educational system that has been improved for better and more efficient learning, ensuring a future where every studentโ€™s skills will be developed while fulfilling their passions.

A constellation of voices unfolds in Sequel, where stories are not confined to endings but continue as echoes of thought and feeling. This folio gathers literary and feature works shaped by memory, observation, and quiet realizations, each piece offering a glimpse into the evolving narratives of student life.

Across its pages, poetry and prose move in rhythm, exploring identity, growth, and the spaces in between. Every work stands on its own, yet together they create a shared landscape of reflectionโ€”where experiences connect and meaning deepens.

Anchored in themes inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the collection bridges personal insight with wider perspectives, inviting readers to see beyond the page and into the world it mirrors.

There are moments in life when time seems to pauseโ€”not to stop us, but to allow us to finally see. In every song lifted and every quiet moment shared, hearts slowly opened, learning to surrender, to trust, and to simply be.

Somewhere between the laughter and the stillness, we found each other in ways we never expected. Walls softened, stories were shared, and bonds grew deeperโ€”not just as classmates, but as individuals walking the same path, carrying the same hopes as we near the end of this chapter.

As we stand on the edge of what comes next, this retreat became more than a pauseโ€”it became something we will carry with us moving forward. A reminder that before we take our next steps, we are grounded in something greater than ourselves. That in every step ahead, we are guided by the connections weโ€™ve built and the clarity weโ€™ve come to understand.

And maybe thatโ€™s what makes this experience unforgettableโ€”not just the moments we shared, but the way it brought us closer to one another and allowed us to grow, reflect, and find meaning in both the noise and the quiet.

Today, we celebrate the triumph of life, hope, and salvation through His resurrection. May this day renew our faith and remind us that every ending holds the promise of a new beginning.
