The 13th Commencement Exercises of Danao Elementary School were successfully held as the Grade 6 learners proudly graduated and are now ready to take another step toward their high school journey. This milestone marks not only the culmination of their elementary education but also the beginning of new opportunities, challenges, and growth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Guest Speaker, Ms. Jelly Jake L. Catahum, for her inspiring message, and to our Confirmation Officer, Mrs. Ma. Lea C. Capeñanes, Principal I of Bucari Elementary School, for gracing the occasion with her presence and support.

🌿💧 Gratitude in Action! 💧🌿

The Danao Elementary School teaching staff and learners would like to express their heartfelt gratitude 💚 to the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office (PGENRO–Iloilo) 🌿, in partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO–Leon) 🤝, for choosing our school as one of the recipients of the program “Hutik sa Kabukiran.” This meaningful initiative was conducted in celebration of the Provincial Water Awareness Month 💧 on March 11, 2026.

The program aims to promote environmental awareness and responsibility 🌎 by fostering knowledge and appreciation in areas such as biodiversity management, watershed protection, solid waste management, climate change awareness, and wildlife conservation 🐦🌳.

Through this initiative, learners were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the importance of protecting and conserving our natural resources.

The event featured fun-filled and engaging activities 🎉 that provided both enjoyment and valuable learning experiences for the participants. The learners actively participated in different topics and interactive sessions including Watershed Awareness, Climate Change, Biodiversity, Wildlife Identification, Solid Waste Management, and the thought-provoking activity “Letter Written in 2070” ✉️ which encouraged them to reflect on the future of our environment.

This activity allowed all participants to refresh their prior knowledge while gaining new insights 📚 about environmental protection and sustainability. It was truly a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved, especially for our dear learners who were inspired to become more responsible stewards of the environment 🌱.

Once again, we extend our sincere appreciation 🙏 to PGENRO–Iloilo and MENRO–Leon for sharing their time, expertise, and dedication in educating our learners. Indeed, this program has made a lasting impact and strengthened our commitment to protecting and caring for our environment 🌍💚.
