Upon the directive of the Local Government Unit of Santa Barbara, through Hon. Dennis S. Superficial, MD, Municipal Mayor, classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in the Municipality of Santa Barbara are hereby suspended today, August 19, 2026, due to inclement weather.

Schools are directed to shift to appropriate alternative learning modalities and/or distribute learning packets to ensure the continuity of learning.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to assist and guide their children in accomplishing the assigned learning activities and ensure that learning packets are completed and submitted upon the resumption of classes.

Daga-Barasan National High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐎), 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐍𝐏)for the successful conduct of a meaningful School Symposium under 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓟.𝓐.𝓖.𝓖.𝓘.𝓨.𝓐. – “𝓖𝓾𝓲𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓣𝓸𝓭𝓪𝔂’𝓼 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓱 𝓣𝓸𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓪 𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓲𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓣𝓸𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓻𝓸𝔀.”

The symposium gave our learners valuable insights on teenage pregnancy prevention, common causes and signs of violence and school safety and security reminding them of the importance of making wise choices and building a responsible future.
