Nakiisa ang DepEd Schools Division of Iloilo sa Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) ng pamahalaan sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga kabataan sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Learning System Enrolment to Employment Program (ALS E to E Program) noong ika-9 hanggang 10 ng Disyembre, 2023 sa Guimbal National High School (GNHS), Guimbal, Iloilo.
Ang ALS E to E Program ay naisakatuparan sa pangunguna ng Tagapamanihala ng mga Paaralan ng Sangay ng Iloilo, Dr. Ernesto Servillon Jr..
Tinatayang humigit-kumulang isang daang out-of-school youths at adults mula sa iba't ibang distrito ang pumunta sa GNHS upang magpatala at maging benepisyaryo ng nasabing programa.
Personal na dumalo sa nasabing pagtitipon si mismong Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.
Nilalayon ng programa na mabigyan ng libreng skills training at priority job offering ang mga mag-aaral sa ALS mula sa mga partner ng DepED ALS tulad ng TESDA, PESO at DOLE.
Samantala, ang BPSF naman ay programa ng pamahalaan na naglalayong magbigay ng serbisyo sa bawat Pilipino sa maginhawa, mabilis at masayang pamamaraan.
Ang BPSF ay nilahokan ng iba't ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan tulad ng TESDA, PESO, DOLE, PNP, PSA, PRC, DSWD at marami pang iba.

ALS ENROLLMENT TO EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
December 4, 2023 – This is one significant day for all ALS advocates in the Schools Division of Iloilo because this is the birth of the ALS Enrolment to Employment (E to E) Program.
This noble undertaking was successfully launched in the Municipality of Maasin and in attendance were the LGU Officials headed by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Francis Amboy.
Taking the lead in the Schools Division of Iloilo is Dr. Ernesto F. Servillon, Schools Division Superintendent, with the support of his ASDSs, Dr. Arlene Yap, Dr. Roger Rochar and Dr. Ramon Paras, Jr.
The newly appointed Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum and Teaching Division, Dr. Nestor Paul M. Pingil also stood by with Sir Juan Adlai Caigoy, Division ALS Focal Person.
The Maasin Gymnasium was filled with ALS advocates coming from the five congressional districts in the Province of Iloilo.
ALS teachers, school administrators, public schools district supervisors, and Maasinanhons gathered to witness this special activity dedicated to the marginalized sectors of the society like the ALS learners.
One of the invited partners was the NYK-Fil Ship Management Office headed by their Branch Manager, CM Hannibal Colmo. Other partners present during this launching program were: TESDA Provincial Director Dr. Esther Babalo, Senior Labor and Employment Officer Sir Danny D. Espinosa and Maasin PESO manager, Ms. May Agnes M. Bangcaya who gave their messages of support to this program.
This will not only make the Maasinanhons shine on, but this ALS E to E Program will surely create ripples of change to every Ilonggo who wishes to provide for the needs of his family while pursuing his dream to finish his education through Alternative Learning System.

UPGRADING ALS SHS PILOT IMPLEMENTATION IN HONING ALS CHAMPIONS
SDO Iloilo Alternative Learning System Senior High School (ALS SHS) family productively completed the 3-day "Upgrading ALS SHS Pilot Implementation in Honing ALS Champions" last November 28-30, 2023 at Eon Centennial Resort, Alta Tierra Village, Jaro, Iloilo City.
The activity was participated by the school administrators and selected ALS SHS teachers of the 19 pilot implementing schools, Division ALS Team and Trainers.
This three-day activity is dedicated to upgrade and improve ALS SHS learning delivery and to improve teaching strategies through unpacking and contextualization of learning competencies of the ALS SHS Curriculum.
The hardworking and visionary leader of this Schools Division, Dr. Ernesto F. Servillon, Jr. MNSA, CESO VI, inspired all the participants in his message. This undertaking was made possible because of the leadership of Mr. Juan Adlai C. Caigoy, the Division ALS Focal Person.
The training team, headed by Mr. Michael O. Tamallana, impressed the participants with their comprehensive and fun way of introducing their topics. To make a comeback, the participants also gave their best during the demonstration teaching and presentation of the outputs.
The implementation of the ALS SHS in SDO Iloilo has come a long way. Amidst all the challenges, the implementing schools rose to the occasion in helping the ALS SHS learners. The sweet scent of success is now being enjoyed by the 1,084 learners enrolled in the ALS SHS Program.
