Alternative Learning System (ALS) Tree Planting and Fruit-Growing Activity
📍 Brgy. Bugang, Alimodian
đź“… July 29, 2025
As part of our commitment to promoting lifelong learning that goes beyond the four walls of the classroom, our ALS learners actively participated in a Tree Planting and Fruit-Growing Activity last July 29, 2025 in Brgy. Bugang, Alimodian.
This initiative aimed to strengthen our learners’ connection with Mother Nature, while fostering awareness and responsibility in addressing pressing issues such as climate change, food sustainability, and community involvement.
In line with the ALS Project: Binhi ni Juan, this activity encourages our learners to be agents of change—planting not only trees but also hope, discipline, and a sense of purpose. Through cultivating fruit-bearing trees, our learners help protect the environment while also contributing to food security—a practical skill that can benefit their own households and communities in the long run.
We commend our ALS learners for their time, commitment, and active participation in this environmental advocacy.
Special thanks to:
Ma'am Sabio, EPS II, for your guidance and continuous support to our ALS learners.
Juland Esperidion and K-Farm, for providing the venue and meals.
Our dedicated cooks: Nerio Camral, Leonila, Julygen, Harsel, and Jayneth, for preparing nourishing meals that fueled the day’s efforts.
Together, through Project Binhi ni Juan, we don’t just plant trees—we plant dreams, nurture values, and cultivate a deeper love for our planet.
Break the cycle in your family.
Break the cycle of poverty, hopelessness, and limitation.
Be the first to dream big.
Be the first to graduate.
Be the first to build, not borrow.
Be the first to save, not spend.
Be the first to heal, not hurt.
Be the first to say, “This ends with me.”
You are not just living for yourself you are rewriting your family’s story.
Every sacrifice you make today is a seed of change for tomorrow.
Break the cycle. Start the legacy.🥀
