Say goodbye to overloaded schedules and hello to smarter learning! 💡

Under the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum (SSHS), the 15 Core Subjects from the existing SHS curriculum have been streamlined into only 5 Core Subjects—aligned with the CHED General Education (GE) Curriculum that learners will eventually take in college. 📖🎯

This means learners can now focus on mastering the essentials while preparing for the future! 🚀

✅ Less academic overload and unnecessary repetition
✅ More time for practical, specialized, and useful subjects
✅ Learning tailored to the learner’s chosen Career Pathway or Exit such as:
🎓 Higher Education
💼 Employment
💡 Entrepreneurship
🛠️ National Certification / Skills Development

Another important change to note:
📌 Core Subjects will be fully offered only in Grade 11 and will no longer be available in Grade 12, giving learners more room to focus on electives, work immersion, and career-based specialization in their final year.

The new SSHS Curriculum is designed to be more relevant, practical, and future-ready—because education should prepare learners not just for graduation, but for life. 🌟

The 2026 Summer Creative Workshops in Dance, Theatre, and Ballet will officially begin on April 24, 2026, with sessions running throughout the summer season.

Participants are encouraged to review the schedule carefully as it highlights intensive training blocks, collaborative rehearsals, and showcase preparations. Guided by Iloilo Prima Galaw mentors, the workshops promise a transformative journey of discipline, artistry, and creative discovery.

Today, April 21, marks the exciting kickoff of the SPSBN Summer Sports Clinic 2026 at the Main Campus! Our basketball, volleyball, and badminton trainees stepped onto the court with energy, determination, and passion as they began their first official day of training.

PRIME NOTE:

The 2026 Summer Creative Workshop offers participants the chance to grow in dance, theatre, and ballet from April to May under the mentorship of Iloilo Prima Galaw artists. With their guidance, aspiring performers are encouraged to refine their skills and discover new dimensions of their craft. Iloilo Prima Galaw believes that true artistry flourishes when discipline is paired with gratitude for the gifts entrusted by God.

The group hopes that each participant will carry forward not only improved technique but also a deeper appreciation for their creative calling. In this way, the workshop becomes more than training, it becomes a journey of passion, faith, and artistic purpose.

The SPSBN Summer Sports Clinic 2026 Orientation kicked off today at the Fr. Louis Chauvet Hall, SPSBN Main Campus, bringing together over 100 enthusiastic trainees, dedicated coaches, and supportive parents.

From basketball to volleyball and badminton, participants are all set to sharpen their skills and grow stronger in their chosen sport. Now on its fourth year, the SPSBN Summer Sports Clinic continues to open doors for both Paulinians and non-Paulinians to learn, improve, and thrive in athletics.

In the SSHS Curriculum, learners are no longer limited to strands with fixed subjects, rather, they can choose their elective subjects across different tracks based in their career pathway or exit and interests.

Career pathway or exit is the identified goal of the learner after Senior High School. They can pursue higher education (college/ university), employment, entrepreneurship or middle skill development.

By identifying the learners’ career pathway or exit, skills and interests through a survey, SPSBN can create class programs and offer elective subjects that are designed to develop Paulinian learners ready for life after Senior High School.

It based on Department of Education Memorandum No. 12, s. 2026 or the "Full Implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum in School Year 2026-2027".

All public and private schools offering Senior High School are directed to implement the SSHS Curriculum fot the Incoming Grade 11 Learners in SY 2026-2027.

However, incoming Grade 12 learners in the said school year will still follow the existing curriculum.
