Last December 20, the Kawilihan-USA Dance Troupe filled the Iloilo National Museum with Christmas spirit during Handog Pasasalamat 2025. From the museum tour and lively dance performances to sharing gifts, smiles, and ending the day with our own little Christmas party, every moment felt like the season itself—warm, joyful, and meant to be shared.

Did everyone enjoy KaSanAg sang Paskwa? With the theme “𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘨-𝘢𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘢,” the Kawilihan-USA Dance Troupe hoped to fill every Augustinian heart with renewed hope and unity through a lively, Christmas-inspired performance. 🌟

𝕾𝖎𝖓𝖆𝖒𝖇𝖆 𝕾𝖆 𝕾𝖆𝖓 𝕬𝖌𝖚𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖓!💃🏻⛵️

The University of San Agustin commenced the new academic year as they welcomed students with the Mass of the Holy Spirit followed by Pang Abi-Abi for freshmen.

The Kawilihan-USA welcomed the Freshies with their energizing Paraw Regatta performance during the 𝙆𝙖𝙎𝙖𝙣𝘼𝙜 𝙉𝙜𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙮𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 last July 14 at the USA Auditorium.

Furthermore, the Troupe performed contemporary dances to highlight its diverse repertoire.

Last 13th of July 2025, the University of San Agustin held the 𝘽𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 at the USA Auditorium and 7th Floor CPMT—a recognition of the exemplary achievements of the school’s students, alumni, and employees among others.

Significantly, the event gave the recognition duly deserved by the 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵-𝘪𝘯-𝘈𝘪𝘥 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴 (𝘎𝘐𝘈𝘚) 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 / 𝘝𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴 in the morning, and 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘴, such as the Kawilihan - USA Dance Troupe, in the afternoon.

To show appreciation for the awards, the Troupe delivered a performance that highlighted the local interaction with other cultures that paved the way to a richer and more colorful Ilonggo culture, traditions and heritage.

𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 (𝘼𝙄𝙍-𝘾)
is a three-day event which brought scholars from different industries to analyse the impact of artificial intelligence. To brighten up the stage, the Kawilihan - USA joined the night for cultural dinner last 8th of july and for the second day of event in the morning, 9th of July. 🔥✨ They presented a culture spirited performance that captivates the beauty of our traditions and to celebrate our heritage. 🖤🤍
