I hope this message finds you well and thriving in your respective endeavors. It has been a privilege to witness you transition from being students to becoming proud alumni of our institution.

As the Coordinator for Alumni Affairs and Relations, I am reaching out to invite you to participate in the 2024 Alumni Tracer Study.

What is a Tracer Study?

A Tracer Study, sometimes called a Graduate Survey, is a research tool used by universities to track the progress of their graduates. It aims to gather essential data regarding your:

Current employment status and job roles.
The length of time it took to find your first job after graduation.
The relevance of your college degree to your current profession.
Skills and competencies you find most useful in the workplace.

Suggestions on how the university can improve its curriculum and student services.

How Does This Help the University?

Your participation is vital. The data you provide helps us in three major ways:

Curriculum Enhancement: The feedback helps our academic departments update and improve their programs to ensure they remain relevant and responsive to the demands of the industry.

Institutional Accreditation: Tracer study results are a key requirement for accreditation bodies, helping us maintain the high standards of our institution.

Strategic Planning: It allows us to understand the career paths of our graduates, which in turn helps us strengthen our alumni network and career support services.

Simply put, your story helps shape the future of your alma mater and the quality of education for future students.

The session will include discussions about Academic-Industry collaboration in Taiwan, career pathways and international exposure through INTENSE program.

A new chapter unfolds in the history of Iloilo Science and Technology University. We are delighted to share the momentous news of the creation of the College of Computing and Informatics. It will revolutionize our academic landscape and pave the way for ISAT U to be at the forefront of the country's digital drive and economic progress in Western Visayas and beyond.

This milestone was made possible through the steadfast support and visionary leadership of the ISAT U Board of Regents, Administration, University President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre Jr., and dedicated faculty members of the Computer Department.

As ISAT University celebrates its 10th year as a chartered university in Iloilo City, we reaffirm our vision of becoming a leader in science, technology, and innovation. The approval of BOR Resolution No. 11-2025 officially establishes the College of Computing and Informatics, effective the First Semester of the academic year 2025-2026.
