HS Library Updates!

October 16, 2025—The Book Lovers Club held its Storytelling Group Presentation at the High School Library. This activity aims to develop the members’ creativity, communication skills, and love for literature. BLC advisers also served as judges.

October 17, 2025—The HS Library conducted its 2nd Quarter Library Instruction session on OPAC use and bibliography writing. The session included a short lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice activities that helped students apply what they had learned.

"In celebration of the 35th Library and Information Services Month (LIS Month) and the 91st National Book Week 2025, the JBLFMU-Molo University Library Department and CES Office successfully conducted an Outreach Activity on October 17, 2025, at Severo Abeto Elementary School, Barangay Sooc, Arevalo, Iloilo City.
This initiative was organized to broaden the reach of the University Library Department and strengthen its commitment to promoting literacy within partner communities. Through a series of interactive and learner-centered activities, the program aimed to cultivate a love for reading, provide enriching educational experiences, and foster meaningful community engagement among the Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils of the partner school.
The activity not only highlighted the importance of libraries as gateways to knowledge but also reinforced JBLFMU–Molo’s mission to support education, empowerment, and lifelong learning."
